Monday Challenge.......

Christmas Themed card

Any occasion/friend card

Swirly Scribbles Thinlits

Good Morning Ladies,

It's Monday Challenge time, this week there is no Sketch to follow, the Challenge is something quite different..........
I would like you to choose a Die or Stamp Set and make 2 cards, One Christmas Card
The other can be any occasion (other than Christmas).  This encourages us to look get more out of our stamps and Dies, a lot of them are more versatile than we think.

I have used my Stampin Up! Swirly Scribble Thinlit Dies, in the first card I used some pine sprigs and pine cones and a little bow, on the Stampin Up Hardwood stamped background.
The second card, i used the same Die but added Flowers from the Botanical Builder set.
Same basic die, two different looks.
I will share some more ideas from Pinterest to give you some inspiration...

Windows work well for both occasions, so would Trees, Stars and some flower dies too.
I hope you have fun with this Challenge ladies, the extra bonus will be that you will have started your Christmas cards too!

I hope you all have a lovely day!

Love and hugs
Sandra

  1. Morning Ladies

Two lovely cards Sandra & a very interesting challenge. Christine Emberson keeps using a mini Poinsettia die as a general flower so that's another idea, also some tree stamps(or dies) could be used for any occasion...hmm my mind is whirring around with ideas. Pity I'm off to work soon!

Sandra-good luck booking your GP appointment today.

  2. Morning Everyone
It's an interesting Challenge this week SANDRA and one that will get my one little grey cell working. At first glance I haven't a clue but something will pop up.lol

We popped into The Range yesterday morning but this time the one in Rotherham. It has a much larger Craft section than the Meadowhall one but doesn't have a coffee bar which let it down. It was also the only time that we didn't come out with a basket full of goodies too. I spent my bday money and at the end of last week a lovely man delivered my parcel. I'll send a picture to SANDRA hopefully today.

As it's Monday it's Mr Tesco morning and then I have a card to make and a parcel to wrap then a photograph to take. I also have to make an appointment for my Annual MOT this morning (I wonder how long I'm going to have to wait to get one so that I can have my bloods done first and then another with the Practice Nurse after that) After that who knows!

Am sending extra hugs for PAT, LYNDA and SANDRA (don't forget to make that appointment)this morning hoping that they will help.

The CAFE is open for the day so come on in and sit a while and take a look at our glorious card board.
    Hugs to everyone xxxx

    1. Thanks for the hugs Karen. Went for Pete's Heart check up today. Thankfully he's much better today. Mind you he normally looks so well, it was a shock to the system to see him so bad last week. Hope you manage to see the Dr today and I hope your cystitis clears up soon.

  4. Hi Sandra and all,
Very interesting challenge this week. It will certainly make the brain tick faster. Sorry I won't be taking part but I'll plan it in my head.
Sandra , hope you can get an early appointment to see GP and that he can sort you out.
Lynda, Poor Terry. Do hope he gets help at the hospital today.
Pat. So hope you and Pete are coping ok. Thoughts with you both.
Karen you're doing the right thing going to your GP re your cystitis. Such a painful thing. Hope he sorts you out.

I woke up during the night with streaming nose, sore throat and headache. I'm sure it's the air con on the plane. I just hate not being well in someone else's house. My brother and SIL are not long recovered from two months of that nasty flu bug that has being doing the rounds and the last thing I want to do is give them a cold. Think I'll be staying in my bedroom.
    Take care everyone.
    See you tomorrow.
    Love Valxxx
