Good Saturday Morning Ladies,
It's been a chaotic start to the weekend, poor Lucy was all stressed as her car wouldn't start, she had a warning come up the other day saying 'low battery', bless her she suffers from anxiety and things like this really upset her, she must of rang Matt as he then rang me and suggested things to try and diagnose, not something I can do and unfortunately Paul is having to work today and tomorrow due to a nightmare situation at work. I wouldn't have a clue how to test the voltage going in to the battery! Years ago Paul, like my dad had all the equipment to diagnose and fix issues like this but cars these days aren't designed for you to be able diagnose and fix yourself!
Maria
Oh Maria what a gorgeous scene, these Crystal Art companies come up with some beautiful artwork, this particular one would be loved by any recipient! I can see why you enjoy creating them, I would soon get addicted!
Thank you so much for sending in for me to share XXX
Gina
Gina made this card her friends Brother. What a perfect man card Gina, which are the new dies?...the numbers or the 'brother'? The frame around the 60 really draws your eye in I also love the little die cut lines behind the age, that paper you have used looks like a really versatile one.
Gina found this lovely Bee themed paper pad at the Range, it looks like it has both metallic and glitter designs in, I can't wait to say what you create with it my lovely.
Thank you so much for sharing your card and shopping with us XXX
That's all for today my lovely friends,
I hope your weekend is having a less chaotic start than mine 🤣😂
Love and hugs to all,
Sandra xxx
Poor Lucy - my son-in-law is a mechanic (old school like his dad) and often says that these days you have to plug cars into a computer to diagnose the issue etc
ReplyDeleteGreat saying - my desk looks like a tip all of the time I think that’s one of the reasons I don’t feel like crafting coz I need to clear a space first
I love your makes Maria and Gina
Rest day again for me I had already pulled out of a bowls match today but last night I really couldn’t settle with this damn cough keeping me awake
Take care everyone xx
Hi all, sunny today, it’s supposed to be getting warmer next week.
ReplyDeleteLove that saying, with me it’s not just card stuff, but fabric and wool to deal with.
Have almost finished my card for this week be with you soon Sandra.
Sorry about Lucy’s car, hope it gets fixed soon. R always has to take his car to a mechanic when anything goes wrong.
Gina and Maria, two lovely makes.
Karen hope the cough clears up soon, nothing worse when you are trying to rest.
Have a good day all. Lilian
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteLove the saying! 😂
Hope Lucy’s car can be repaired soon, we rely on them so much don’t we? Mark wants to get me a new car due to a couple of his mates having problems with their Ford vehicles and some ‘newish’ belt they have on them now. One mates went and blew up the engine! 😮 I love my little car, but now he’s put that thought in my head I’m slightly concerned 😟
My foot is better now, not sure what it was, but keeping an eye on it as could be Arthritis.
Lilian, I was sorry to hear about R, how scary for you. I hope he’s ok and you too 🥰
Karen, hope you’re having a relaxing day and your cough isn’t any worse 🥰
Love your crystal art picture Maria. I hope you’re ok too, must be a worry for you with your family not being well 🥰
Lovely card Gina, and pretty paper pad 😊
I hope everyone is well and having a good day
Sending hugs to you all xx
Hi everyone.
ReplyDeleteLike the saying but in all the ness in life and on craft desk I did a card.
Gina, I love the card and you did find some nice papers there. Looking forward to see what you make.
Yes, aren't they sweet. I love them however I made one this week and not 100% about it but you will see it soon.
I loved the card yesterday Sandra. I haven't done much with vellum but like to try.
Wishing that Lucy's car get sorted. Nothing last these days and sadly very expensive to have them fixed . OH is looking for another car but so far out of our price range.
Sonia, hope you're getting better. I am having x-ray on mine week after next. I've to have it sorted before holiday in October , well can only hope.
Lilian, I hope that R is not in too much pain and that you are alright. Take it easy both of you.
Brenda, everything alright with you ?
Sue,is the cake finished ? Love to see your handiwork.
Thank you to all of you, my friends 💖
Having a quiet and calm day after getting some tablets from the walk in centre at the hospital yesterday. No spinning anymore, now the head feels more like in the clouds 😲 much better 😀. Sending you all many hugs, take care. xxx
Hi Sandra and all
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards over the last few days. I do hope the smaller size dress fits my lovely xx
Maria, thinking of you at this awful time and sending gentle hugs xx
Lilian, I’m sending the same gentle hugs to you too. Such a terrible shock for both R and you. Thankful that you have kind neighbours. Be gentle with yourselves xx
I hope everyone is improving as the days go by. Hopefully the return of the sun will help.
Well the last few days have flown by. Why on earth did I volunteer to make this cake? My Auntie was over the moon with it and her first words were” Thank you so much Chris” He was very quick to say that I had done 100% of it from shopping for the ingredients onwards. He had been there to try and calm me down several times when I was getting super stressed. I forgot to take a picture before we left home and unfortunately also forgot to put the candles on right at the back of the cake as planned so one the kitchen staff put them at the front of the cake hiding the roses but Auntie loved it anyway. I won’t be making another one soon though as I’m shattered and the kitchen and dining table look like an icing sugar bomb has gone off. Take care. Love Sue xx
Sorry not sure why my comment published twice x
