Good Sunday Morning Ladies,
My goodness did we have a busy day yesterday, when we moved in there was a huge dead area in a a hedge thats about 18 to 20 ft tall, it was a Clematis that after surviving to many years succumbed to the frost the winter before we moved in,
The weather and time have caused the dead and rotten Clematis to drop down, taking our new Clematis that had grown to 12ft with it, so we spent all of yesterday pulling the rest of it down after painstakingly unwinding our clematis off of the fallen branches, they really fix theirselves hard around those twigs. It took ages unwinding it all, that was my job, I was sat on my rolling trolley for a good hour or two, I have no idea how old the clematis was but Paul had to get a saw to cut through the main trunk, we were going slow and steady because there are still birds nesting in the hedge, so Paul was clipping branch by branch. Today we will find away to fix our clematis back into the hedge, to hopefully cover the dead area.
Anyway, back to crafting......

Here is my card for this week’s challenge, saw one similar on Pinterest. I used old Altenew stamps that I have had for years but never made a card with them. I know why now, clear ink and clear embossing powder. Then painted with my tiny tin of metallic paint. Not sure where the message was from.
Such a pretty card Lilian, You have painted it beautifully as always. The sentiment works great, the pearl string is the perfect finishing touch.
Thank you so much for taking part XXX

Butterfly stamp from a magazine which I fussy cut matted card onto white and then mounted it onto a 6x6 Kraft card blank So the card is totally flat So easy for posting I don’t think I will add a sentiment
Karen found a paper pad that she had forgotten about, so she used it for this card, the paper is lovely, so much detail, those three butterflies are the perfect embellishment. Nothing more is needed, a background that pretty needs to be seen.
Thank you so much for taking part XXX

I send you here the card for Sunday. I have used the same die as last week with different colours in purple paper . All the pieces are falling out when cutting so you have to put them back in. Shame this die doesn't have one die just for the frame .
Have a good day 💕.
It might be a bit of a faff to piece back together but its worth it, I love it! The colours you have used work perfectly too.
Thank you so much for taking part in the Challenge XXX

Morning! Sorry I didn’t comment yesterday I looked (without my glasses on) and then forgot to go back and leave one
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers Sandra and what a fantastic haul Gina from the charity shop
Had a lovely meal with friends last night- Turkish Kitchen
Great cards today Sometimes you can trap the pieces in the die with masking tape before you “poke” it out of die It doesn’t always work but can trap most of the bits to paper piece
A bowls match this afternoon I wish I could say I am improving but I’m not! A bit of fun and gentle exercise though
Good luck with the clematis Sandra
Take care everyone xx
