Your Challenge Cards

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

I hope today finds you well, we had a damp day yesterday,  a couple of light rain showers but we did get some washing out on the line, it was blowing quite nicely but didn't completely dry, but every minute saved in the tumble dryer is a bonus, especially as most of the loads were towels (this is what happens when you ask your girls to tidy their rooms and bring their laundry down!

Not much planned today, we are taking a load of cardboard to the tip, popping to the shops then later on this evening our local pub has a Bonfire party, raising money for the British Legion,  it's for villagers only so should be fun.
What are you all up to?

Karen

Karen's Description:

Card 1:  I stamped the boxes in grey Masked them and did a blended background with Tumbled Glass Speckled Egg and Shaded Lilac DO

Randomly stamped snowflakes and stupid picked up sparkle embossing powder So re-stamped and embossed with white

Card 2: Here’s a another cc which would have fitted last week too

I tore a page out of a colouring book (old) and cut into a square I then die cut a circle I coloured the circle with chameleon pens (old) and stamped a few Aall and Create words

Two lovely Challenge cards from Our Karen this week, I know the amount of time and patience that has gone into your first card, it looks so effective though, I also love your blended background!  Such a clever idea for your second card, Such a clever way of using your colouring books to create cards. The girls were given some for mindfulness a couple of years ago but they haven't touched them, so maybe I might have a play!  2 inspirational ideas, thank you so much XXX

Sonia

Sonia's Description:

"Here’s my card. Sorry it was a quick and easy one, but I quite like how it turned out.

The stamped snowflake circle is from Magnolia, heat embossed with Speckled Egg embossing glaze. The Merry Christmas is from My Favourite Things again coloured with Speckled Egg and the Christmas Rose from Chloe’s Creative Cards.

Sonia you are really making want to buy that flower stamp and die set, your card is so beautiful,  I love the soft green  shade, it works really well with the pretty blue stamped snowflake circle.  Thank you so much for such a pretty Challenge card XXX

Janet

Janet's Description:

Here are my CCs for this week.
I just managed to get two small new cards made and then found a couple of 'throw back' ones which fit the Challenge.

The problem I have for my cards this week is that the two new ones were made up of papers and images I found in my 'spare' drawers and so I just cannot remember which Company made the images and where I bought the background papers from. As you can imagine the last time I saw any of these craft products was two years ago and I know they were bought a long time before that.
The same goes for the two 'throwback' cards but they too meet the Challenge

Wow Janet what an amazing  collection of cards, all completely different, sone beautiful Mixed Media cards in such pretty colours,  I love that Die cut card too the metallic card really adds the WOW to the design.   Thank you so much for taking part all the from France XXX

Maria

Maria's Description:

I made the first cc into a Circle card. Used DO for the background, made
a few stars before attaching the Santa coloured in with my Spectrum Noir
and a little greeting also on a circle.
My second card ,Square, started with a Embossed background with holly,
coloured with DO, did Mary and Joseph with Spectrum Noir and the frame
with DO, no sentiment yet.

Thank you so much Maria for two amazing Challenge cards for this weeks Circle/Square Challenge,  I love both cards, the image on your first card is beautiful, I love how you have framed it too.  I hope you have a lovely day at Creative Craft Show. XXX

Lilian

 Lilian's Description:

Hi, here are my cards for this week, the magnolia I have had for years and is one of my all time favourites. The circle card is from the stamp set you sent me recently, thank you , thought it would make a good new home card

Oh Lilian both of these amazing cards really highlights how amazing your colouring skills are, that Front Door scene looks absolutely stunning coloured so beautifully, you made it look so much better than I did.  Your Magnolia is just so beautiful, the shading gives so much more detail to the flowers.  Absolutely stunning, thank you so much. XXX

Brenda

Brenda's Description:

"I have two cards today for the circle/square challenge.

First card Squares  - Green background paper from the Expressions in Ink collection      I used the StampinUp EF to add a little texture to the gold section and the stamp is   the small flower spray in Stampinup Shaded Summer stamp set.

The second card (Circles) is one I made for grandsons birthday (23 today) hope he doesn’t think it’s to girly!
I used Aall and Create butterfly stamp and VersaFine CLAIR Twilight ink pad. Mat and layers are French Navy and White.

Brenda thank you so much for two amazing Challenge cards, your first card using our favourite paper is stunning,  You have paired the colours so well and that Embossing folder texture goes well with your design, I do love that shaded Summer stamp set.  Your second is so lovely, the colours you have used for the circles are perfect, I csn see that you even coloured that tiny bird to match.  Your Grandson will love it.  Thank you so much for making time to join in with the challenge, I know you have had trying week, I really do appreciate it 😊 XXX

Everyone’s cards are all wonderful, so different, seeing as we all had the same guidelines to work to.

Not been feeling very great this past couple of days, hoping I can get an appointment to see the GP tomorrow.
