Mixed Up Saturday

Good Morning Ladies,

I don't think that any of us have our teeth into crafting yet this years so this weeks 'Mixed Up Saturday' isn't as full as it usually is but the are still some amazing things to look at.

The photos above are of one of Danielle's Albums/Notebooks, it's this one that first inspired me to want to have a go, then Dannielle sent me a Travellers Notebook that she has made for me.  There was so much detail in it, I was so touched, making want to have a go even more.
So this is where it started, watch this space, thank you Danielle for inspiring me xxxx

Karen

Karen made this absolutely stunning cardigan for Alan (her Husband) for Christmas, Karen I love the pattern you have used. There is so much detail, this could easily be for a Male or Female, I bet its lovely and warm to wear too. I know Alan will absolutely love it.  Thank you so much for sharing it with us, I so wish I could make one, I just can't master getting the tension right. xxxx

Maria

Maria has been kind enough to share her Christmas Decorations with us, Maria your tree is absolutely stunning! We had a big debate in our house about having Tinsel on our Christmas tree, it started because the box with the Tinsel in has gone missing, so I was going to get Paul to take me to get some more but apparently Tinsel is not 'trendy'!  I think our tree looked a little bare without it, seeing your tree has just confirmed my thoughts, I think it gives shape to your tree plus the added sparkle it gives!
I love the little gnomes or elves that are hiding at the bottom of your tree!!
Your fireplace looks amazing too Maria, your Santa is huge, he's a gorgeous traditional looking santa, he must have cost a fortune!
Last but not least are those super cute little Snowmen on your Windowsill, Maria they are so cute, are they something you have collected over time?
You have some amazing Christmas decorations Maria, thank you so very much for photographing them and sharing them with us. xxxx
Lilian

Lilian was treated to some very nice quality Water Colour Pencils for Christmas, this particular Brand KOH-I-NOOR are up there with the very finest quality and are used  by professionals as well as Hobby Artist.  Lilian I know how amazing your Artwork is and I am so excited to see what you will make with these.  What an amazing and thoughtful Christmas gift Lilian, you must have been so thrilled when you opened them.
Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us my lovely xxxxx

Thats all for today ladies, thank you so much to all those of you that took part in todays blog post.

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend, I think that we will be taking the tree and decorations down, it barely even seems five minutes since we put them up!

Sending love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

Lilian-your pencils look great. Have you used them yet?

Quick trip into the village this morning then we’re off to visit my Father in Law this afternoon. At some point today we need to take down the decorations & put them away. I still haven’t made it into my craft room yet!

Lilian your pencils look very interesting. What a thoughtful present. Love to see what you do with them.
We're off to pick my friends up from the Airport later. They've been back visiting family over Christmas.
Nothing much else doing today. Usually have coffee with my chatty friend today but it's a 10 minute walk to meet her and my backs too sore at the moment although I'm happy to say it is improving.
    Have a good Saturday everyone.

  6. Hello All, another cold grey day, light on all day, ditto heating.

Love Your book Dannii, enjoy doing yours Sandra, the worst is the first blank page.

Karen your hubbies cardigan is super, bet it’s lovely and warm.

The pencils are from my sons, they are chunky so they lay down a lot of colour quickly, not really given a good try yet, they are wax but water solvable.

    See you tomorrow, hugs Lilian
