A Thank you for Friday....

Good Morning Ladies,

Are you all glad its the end of the week once again?? I always look forward to Fridays as its Paul's half day and the start of the weekend.

Today's card is a cute little 'Thank you' card, the flowers and foliage is from the Needle & Thread Stamp set, stamped in Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and foliage is Lemon Lime Twist, I really like this colour combination, if you look closely at the flower you can see the stitch detail, the image was made by somebody embroidering the flower, they then photographed it and used the image to make the stamp, the papers have the same detail too.
The detail in the background is an embossing die, its such a pretty design and so easy to add to a background.
The sentiment is a mixture of the Well Said Stamp set and matching dies, I die cut the 'Thanks and you' and stamped the 'Sending and To', just for a different look, I really love how it has turned out.

Now I have some news to share with all of you...…..

I have decided to take a Break from Stampin'Up!, I was just feeling the pressure of trying to sell, which is not something that I enjoy doing, I consider you all as my very Dear Friends and don't ever want to feel like I am pressuring you into buying stuff.
I will continue to use their products because I genuinely love everything they make, their paper, inks and stamps are all amazing quality, it was their stamps that actually gave me the confidence to give stamping another try and I haven't looked back since, I also love that everything matches, paper, card, ink and ribbon.

Thank you to all of you for your support over the past 2 years xxx

Our Margaret is still a Demonstrator so anything you fancy can be ordered through her, she will be number 1 shop! For as long as she wants to carry on. xxx

Thats all from me for today, I hope you all have a great day, however you are spending it,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

Sandra-what a beautiful card, I love the colours you have used. I completely understand your reasons for leaving Stampin’Up-feeling the pressure to sell is not pleasant & certainly not something I could do.

Thank goodness it’s Friday it’s been a busy old week!

  2. Morning Everyone
A lovely little card SANDRA. Such pretty colours.

I too can fully understand you taking a back seat from selling. I could never stand the pressures of having to push products. I could never be a salesperson. I have difficulty reminding when I'm owed.lol

Well it's that 'swear' word for me today but before I do any of that I really need to get my CC sent off.

The CAFE is OPEN and ready for you all. The cupboards have been stocked so help yourselves.
HUGS are winging their way to you all. Take care and stay safe.xxxx

  4. Hi everyone,
Very pretty card Sandra. Love the bright colours.
I too understand your reasons. I once had a job as a Telesales operator for Batchelors Foods and I hated having to pressure people to buy. I only lasted a couple of months.

Off to craft club yeh. I missed last week because of sciatica but happy to say today is the first day I've had a pain free walk with Gracie. Such a relief.

    Have a good day everyone.

Daily hugs to Pat and Pete.xx

  6. Hello All, chilly here today.

I wrote a long post yesterday but forgot to check the box and pressed publish and off it few into the ether.

Sandra loved your cards today and yesterday, I understand your reasons for finishing with stamping up, I bought from a lady a few years ago order every month for a year, and when I said I wanted a break she was very put out, never heard from her since.
Roger is off to Southport today for a meeting tomorrow, so on my own for a couple of days.

Have a good evening , hugs Lilian

  7. Lovely card Sandra.
Looks like I can’t comment again. I went to view my profile for Sandra and clicked on Cotswold Crafter from there. This time it didn’t work. Bummer.
