Something Floral for Friday with a stamping tip.

Good Morning Ladies,

I made today's card to show a quick Stamping Tip using a stamping tool, I have made a card in these colours before but it was slightly different.
I used the Stampin'Up! Garden Impressions 6x6 Dsp for the background, I then punched two Decorative Ribbon Borders to cover the join of my card, I then Coloured a piece of 1/8 sheer white ribbon and coloured it with Daffodil Delight Stampin Blend pen.
The video will show you how I stamped and coloured my image, I share a tip that will help you stamp in any ink and colour with anything. So worth a quick look.
I used the Love What You Do stamp set for my focal point.
I hope you find the video useful, I love that I can stamp in any colour and not have to worry about the ink bleeding.

The Original Colour Stampin Blends are now available on Stampin' Up! Website, the new colours are due in any time.

While you are there check out the Clearance Rack, there are some great bargains to be had.

Lucy has one more exam on Monday and then they are both finished all of their A levels, I cannot wait to see them both relaxed.  Sophie received her written confirmation of her Unconditional place at Coventry University for next year, It was quite a relief that they let her defer the Unconditional offer.
Lucy is still undecided, I think that once the exams are over she will be able to relax and think a bit more about what she wants to do.  Whatever they choose they know that Paul and I are both very proud of them.

This weekend is the first weekend in a long time that Paul and I have nothing planned, something that we both need. What are you all up to this weekend.

Have a lovely day ladies, thanks in advance for watching my video, if any of you are able to share it that would be so helpful too.

Love and Hugs to all of you,

Sandra

Beautiful card Sandra, I’ll watch the video tonight. I think your weekend of Nothing planned sounds perfect!
I’m meeting a friend for coffee tomorrow morning then I have a Card Making Table at the Church summer fun day tomorrow afternoon-im making Father’s Day Card with the children-pity the forecast is for rain all day tomorrow. Sunday we’re meeting my brother & wife (who are driving down in their camper van) and going out for lunch with my Dad & the dog then we’ll go straight over to the hospital to see my Father in Law-probably be met with hostility or silence from his wife & daughter!!

Enjoy your coffee with your friend tomorrow. Sounds like your MIL is a right pain. I bet Phil is quite upset over it.

  2. Morning Everyone
and to all who pop in today.

We had an awful day yesterday with high winds all day. Fortunately no rain but my climbing roses on the front wall of the house have taken a beating well and truly and the deep red one (my favourite) has been snatched off the wall and looks as though it's going to have to be cut down. It will have to wait until the week-end so we can see what needs doing.
Fortunately everything has calmed down this morning.

SANDRA- a very pretty card and I'll be watching the video later.

It's that 'swear' word today and I've already got the washer on with towels etc from the bathroom so I'd better get a move on.

HUGS are winging their way to you all with loads of extras for Dear Friends not feeling too well.xxxx

So a question for you What’s the difference between Versamark Versafine and Perfect Medium! I guess PM is just a different brand ....
Hospital appointment (Urology)this morning This afternoon we’re taking MIL to visit her sister for the weekend On Sunday we’ll go dancing and pick MIL up
OH did mention about visiting my dad this evening but I don’t want to risk bumping into her or son and grandson whom I’ve never met She’d expect me to greet her with open arms and even though it’s been 45 years I just can’t do it
    Take care all xx

    2. Hi Karen, what a quandary re your Dad and the 'steps'. My heart goes out to you, I had not very pleasant experiences with my 'steps' following Pete's death. They always think it should be about them not the other person. However you think about them, he is your Dad first and foremost. xxx

  6. Morning ladies,

Pretty card Sandra, will watch video later.

Lovely couple of days off catching up with peeps and swim club for Tiegan.
This morning gardening will wait as I have a new decking scrubber to try out. I had asked Jamie to get me one from Wickes a couple of weeks ago and the young man said they did not have one. I knew they sold them as my previous one had been bought from there years ago. On my way to my REA meeting I had to go past Wickes so called in and there they were on the garden tools rack. As I was paying for it I did mention to the young lady serving me that their staff ought to know what stock they held and should be able to go to the section and show customers what was there, instead of relying upon pictures on the computer. The only difference I found was that they now call it a Patio scrubber which Jamie could have brought back for me as he knew what our original looks like. Technology - nil...happy customer - 1

Off I go before the sun hits the decking, the sun is on our patio most of the day and boy, doesn't it get hot there by midday.

    Love 7 hugs

  7. Hi Everyone,
Gorgeous card Sandra, will look at video in a minute.
Messaged mum this morning, both her and dad are not well and dad is very upset because they have to give away one of the dogs. Wouldn't be fair to have it in a flat when used to a big garden to run around in. Doctors, Ikea and a quick visit to Asda this morning. Feeling better but very tired so nothing else being done today then clearing some emails and having my feet up.
Sending hugs to you all and extras for the ones who need some. Karen and Michele, thinking of you both xxx

  8. Hello All, windy here today and a bit cooler, dried the washing great.

Sandra love your card, will watch video later.

Feeling a bit better on these new, old tablets, it’s a higher dose than before, but not sure they will be happy as heart is racing a bit again, still so much better than being so breathless.

Maria, sorry to hear M&D are not too well, also hope you will soon feel better.

Not much else happening here, R gone to stay with daughter in Barnes, as he has a meeting that way tomorrow, so I’m just sitting watching the tennis.
Hope you have a good day, hugs Lilian
