Good Thursday Morning Ladies,

My goodness the floods were quite bad around here,  after two days of persistent rain for the best part of two days. Lucy had to drive through a lot of standing water on the way to GP surgery, trouble is you can't see the pot holes under the water!

I went and had my blood tests yesterday,   I took a sample to be checked too,  the nurse checked it and said it looked all clear apart from a tiny trace of blood.   The blood tests are for a whole host of different things,  mainly my liver and inflammatory markers, the nurse said I should have some results back today.  I asked about flu-jab but she said that they had run out and were waiting for more stock.  I explained that we were going away this weekend so would rather wait until after the weekend in case it makes me feel rough.

Today's card is another Gina K 'Christmas in July  collection' card.
The Mistletoe branch is a 4 part stencil,  I used Pear Pizazz,  Old Olive inks for the Greens and Cherry Cobbler with a touch of Aged Mahogany for shade.
I die cut the branch,  added it to a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inch card base matted with cherry cobbler, I embossed the front panel for interest and some lovely texture.  I finished the card with a sentiment from the same stamp set.

I hope that you all have a good day,

Love and hugs,

Sandra xxx

  2. Like Sonia has said that kit was a real bargain The card is beautiful
I hope you get some good results today Some will obviously take a while if they’re “growing” cultures etc My urology consultant told me if she admitted everyone showing blood in their urine she’d fill the hospital It appears that that’s not uncommon and providing it’s not causing trouble to leave well alone
I must concentrate on some Christmas cards today Have been totally distracted and needed to do some birthday cards instead
    Take care everyone xx

  3. Hello, raining again here. Dry for Mr Sainsbury this morning thank goodness.
Another lovely card to day, I’m trying to make some quick and simple cards, but even they are ending up looking messy.
Hope you have some results of your test, and they are ok.
Have a good rest of the day. Lilian

  4. Hi everyone
Beautiful card. I'm like the other ladies and everything that I am making, does not look right so it might have to be my stand by cards for you all this year. Hopefully that is alright ?☺️
Hubby is looking for a new car so we went today to see if I could get in and out of it ok. My hip is so locked these days so it might sound weird but to lift my right leg into a car is not that simple anymore. Wasn't long ago I could kick OH in the butt but not so anymore 🤭 😂
Hope that your results are back, Normal. When I went to outpatients with my back the sample was showing blood in the urine so they rushed me over to the hospital. Test nr.2 was clear so not sure what they had seen.
Mum needs another operation in her bladder but she refuses to have it before Christmas so that be in January. Dad has got a sore on his other foot so we all praying for nothing sinister now when he's soon have a prothese. Hopefully the new year will be better.....
Sending love and many hugs to you all. Maria xxx

Maria sorry you are struggling, hope things improve soon. It must be difficult not being able to help your parents, they are so many miles away, stay strong.

Hope everyone has had a good day, take care, goodnight, sleep well love Brenda xxx
