Good Wednesday Morning Ladies,
All change today, it's usually the day that Lucy and I go out, she has swapped her day off to help someone out, which has a positive side in that Soph & Lucy both have the day off tomorrow so they have planned a lunch date for the three of us.
Lucy and I had a baking afternoon yesterday, we made 'School Cake' (an iced vanilla sponge tray bake) and Jam slice, which is basically like shortbread with a layer if jam in the centre, it literally melts in your mouth, you can make it with mincemeat too, which will be nice at for Christmas.
I didn't have long to make something for today, so I followed a Vicky P tutorial and created this journal page.

ReplyDeleteToday’s journal page is great, I love the different layers and those little birds are cute. I always looked at ephemera and wondered how I would use it but you are inspiring me to look again and have a go with it. I always seemed to see packs with lots of people dressed in Victorian clothing but I love the nature type ones you often use.
Changing the subject now, I feel for yo so much with your painful joints. You are going to need to be seen, completely understand that you don’t want to open that can of worms though! xx

Just waiting for the man to arrive and clean my ovens and hob In my opinion it is so worth the money Saves me having to do a cumbersome messy job
We’re also out for lunch with friends that we haven’t seen in over a year

ReplyDeleteA beautiful page. I asked the other day where you got them from because like Sue the ones I have seen all seem to be Victorian and quite dark so where would we find these ones ?
I put the heating on today. Couldn't sit any longer with my hands so cold and stiff. Didn't sleep very well last night either so had a nap before but still feeling 💤 hopefully I will get into the craft room tomorrow.
