My version of Thrinchie 48

Good Morning Ladies,

I didn't get my full day crafting yesterday as I had the worst night on Sunday night, we had an Indian takeaway,  I didn't have anything spicy as I don't enjoy it,  however my 'digestive system ' has been really slow lately, so after a few mouthfuls of food I felt over full and uncomfortable,  I stayed up later than I normally do as we watched 'The Thursday Murder Club'on Netflix (which was brilliant and I would 100% recommend it)!  So I left time to digest my tea before bed.  However I knew it was going to be a long night when I couldn't get comfortable, I was awake and going to bathroom every hour or so as my bladder was inflamed from being under pressure from me being 'backed up'. At one point I had been sat on the loo for over 45 minutes, when Paul came to check that I was ok.  I tried to relax and get some sleep but then Milo came in, he was unsettled because of the strong winds that were howling through the windows, so I ended up coming downstairs and making myself a mint tea, I snuggled up on the sofa and waiting for Paul to get up, so he could get an extra hour sleep.  He told me to go back to bed and try and get a couple of hours of sleep,   I did start to relax but Matt & Becca called so I gave up.  I did get to sit and craft eventually at around 1pm

Today I am sharing the first of another pair of Thrinchies,  number 47 & 48.  I will share the other one tomorrow.

I used Tim Holtz Lumberjack Plaid, Festive Berries & Carved Pumpkin Watercolour pencils to colour the flower and I used a wet paint brush to flick tiny speckles on the background after which I spritzed with water.  When dry I stamped the flower and Coloured and I added some white embossing for interest and texture.  I finished by stamping the crow and adding shading and finally some white splatters of course.  I mounted onto a black mat, ready to go into an album.

I have only just realised that I have shared the second (48) begore (47) 🤣😂 I think Im going crazy!

I hope that you a have a lovely Tuesday,

Love and huge hugs,

Sandra xxx

  1. Hi Sandra and all. Beautiful cards over the last few days. And todays Thrinchie is a gorgeous Christmas coloured one, the colours are so dense - not the right word as I can’t think of it but I hope you know what I mean.
I hope you are feeling much better today my lovely xx
Thank goodness those awful winds seemed to have gone now. I hope everyone has been safe and damage free as we have here. Take care. Love Sue xx
