Good Thursday Morning Ladies,
I hope today finds you well, gentle hugs from thos4 of you that are feeling under the weather 🫂
We had another sunny but chilly day yesterday, Soph said that the Wildlife park was super busy, it's school holidays here and a nice sunny day so that's why it was busy I guess.
Ooh I must update you on the Sourdough cookies, they are so delicious, they come out of the oven soft but as they start to cool down they go crispy on the outside and stay soft in the centre, there is no greater pleasure than a cookie warm from the oven.
Today I am sharing the second of the lightbulb Thrinchies.
This one used the same colours as yesterday's but these lightbulbs were coloured with Ecoline pens, in orange l, pink and red. Some were stamped straight on the Thrinchie some were stamped and fussy cut. I used a background stamp then added the lightbulbs around it I added the strings with a fine tip pen. I stamped the sentiment onto an off cut of white card and cut around it adhered to the Thrinchie then added a little shading.
I hope that you have a good Thursday,
Love & hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxx
Another wonderful Thrinchie I will definitely pass on these two because I don’t have a lightbulb stamp and don’t think I can substitute a different one
ReplyDeleteJust awaiting the arrival of the whirlwinds aka grandsons! They are sleeping over tonight Although it’s exceptionally tiring we love it
Take care everyone xx
Enjoy having the boys to stay. Worth every bit of tiredness aren’t they 🥰 See if you have any vase or pot stamps that can be upended as a light bulb, I have a freebie one from a magazine from ages ago but sadly haven't a clue where it is otherwise I would have sent it to you. I remember thinking what a great idea it was whoever came up with turning up the other way! Xx
DeleteI have a vase stamp! What a great idea
DeleteHi Sandra and all looking in
ReplyDeleteLove both yesterdays and todays Thrinchies. I loved the shading and colours you used on the large lightbulb yesterday and I thought you had used texture paste or something similar when I first looked at the card. Today’s little lightbulbs are great too. Glad Sophs cooking’s were delicious xx
The longer days are great aren’t they. And seeing the Daffs and Crocuses blooming too. Mum loved them too and planted lots in her garden. I will be replanting lots of them into our garden and pots but want to enjoy them blooming one last time at 34.
Have a good day. Take care. Love Sue xx
Hello, another wet and cold day, maybe we will have a nice warm spring when it arrives.
ReplyDeleteAnother great thrinchie, I would not thought of buying a bulb stamp, but now I see how you have used it, I can see the value.
Must go and tidy away al the stuff I pulled out to do my thrinchie. They may be small, but I seem to use a lot of different stamps, ink etc.
Have a good evening all, chicken pie for dinner here. Lilian
You have certainly opened my eyes showing how versatile Thrinchies are, i would never though a light bulb stamp could be used in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteWe went shopping this morning fortunately the weather wasn’t too bad, but by the time we came out of the shop the weather had changed and it was raining again, so the rest of the day has been spent reading.
Hope your day has been more exciting.
Take care. Love Brenda xxx
Hi everyone.
ReplyDeleteFabulous take of the light baubles on such a small area. Very good.
Haven't been able to do what I wanted because of IBS having a good day but I didn't.
Going to bed so wish you all a good night .
Take care, hugs to you all. xxx
