Same paper different style

Good Morning Ladies,

A cooler day here yesterday but beautifully sunny all day.  Paul felt slightly better and insisted on working,  although he did need to take a few breaks and had a sleep on the sofa, this time its a very sore throat and congestion that are the main symptoms for him, he said his body ached yesterday but no so much today thankfully.

I had a look at the calendar yesterday and discovered that there are only 3 weeks and 4 days until we go on holiday, so I really need to get making some cards.

I'm sure you all have the same problem,  some days you can sit and make 2 or 3 cards but other days, despite your best effort you barely get one made,  I find it easier to narrow down what I'm going to use,  otherwise you end up searching for inspiration for hours.

Today's card is a Pinspiration card, one lady that made it was call 'Pat's Stamping '.  There were a few versions though.

I used Starry Sky cardstock to create my card base (as this is a colour featured in the paper design).     Next i die cut to lacy borders to go down either side of a strip if the Dainty Floral dsp.  I then adhered this to my card base and added my sentiment. A pretty card that looks totally different to yesterdays card.

I hope that you all have a good day,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra xxx

  1. Lovely card It would make a great DL card too
Glad to hear Paul seems to be on the mend
I have been asked to make 3 cards for milestone birthdays at the bowls club and don’t think any of them will fit the Pinterest challenge!
The bathroom is still not finished! The sink in. En-suite has been changed but the tilers have had to come back to re-do the main bathroom floor - not their fault it’s the builders Long story but they should have had a bit of common sense to realise it wasn’t right
Going out to lunch with the Salsa ladies which will be nice to have a good catchup
    Take care everyone xx

  2. Hi everyone, cloudy and chilly again today.
Sandra love your card today, the edging really makes the difference. The paper is one of the prettiest I’ve seen for a long time.
Have to put stuff away so I have room to craft, not sure why I take so much stuff out, that my table ends up just one big muddle.
Hope you have a nice lunch with your salsa ladies. Have a good rest of day all, Lilian

  3. Hi Sandra and all looking in. Both yesterday and today’s cards are gorgeous. I love the floral papers, they really are beautiful and I love how a pretty lacy edge die can make a card look so different.
Sorry to hear Paul has Covid. As you said it takes a lot for him to admit to feeling rough. Wish him well from me. I hope you, Soph and Lucy stay well my lovely xx
Well I had an interesting visit with Pop today. He was in high spirits and told me he got married last night to a lady called Kelly, (which is the name of one of the night staff on his ward) apparently as she works a night shift and he works a day shift they don’t get to see much of each other 🤣 And Mum told Pop that she approves of Kelly and she is glad that she has a good sense of humour! It is just lovely to see him so happy and relaxed. I just go along with whatever he says. It makes visits interesting as you never know what he is going to come out with, bless him 🤣
I hope you all have had a good day. Take care. Love Sue xx
