Your Next Challenge

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

How are we all this Friday morning, this week has been a long one, it maybe because we have all been home as the Wildlife Park is closed through the week at the moment, Sophie is only having to go into University on a Monday at the moment, which is nice as she doesn't have to drive to Coventry 3 or 4 times a week, although she said that she felt a bit vulnerable on Monday as she was the only one wearing a mask, in fact she said yesterday that 2 of her class mates have tested positive this week, which I guess is no surprise.  Lucy has remained negative all week which is a relief although she has been feeling rough, she has had tummy trouble bless her, she has felt bloated and said she could only manage to sleep almost sitting up in her Bean Bag, (it is a giant one), although she said she seemed to slide off half way through the night onto the hard floor, I suggested last night that she tried putting the Bean Bag on her bed, which she thought was Genius!!
We don't have any plans for the weekend, we were hoping to go down and visit Paul's Dad again but his home is on a lockdown as they have had so many cases of Covid, Paul's Mum tested negative last weekend so rang to say she was coming and was told she couldn't.  Paul's Dad has covid now so we are keeping everything crossed that it's just a mild case.  She is hoping to be able to go and visit this coming weekend, so we will leave it another week or so to let things calm down.
So instead of going there we have booked a trip to the Tip to get rid of the huge pile of cardboard that is left from Christmas, our bin men will not take it if it doesn't fit in the silly little boxes they provide, so that's something exciting to look forward too! hahaha!!!

What do you have planned??

Your Next Challenge

We all need cheering up so I decided that we should all look ahead to Spring and so this week I thought we could all make projects featuring Flowers.
You can stamp them, die cut, stencil or emboss, the choice is yours.  It doesn't matter whether you makes cards, tags, journal pages or 3D projects as long as it features a flower.
I think that it is a topic that we all enjoy.
As always I can't wait to see what you all design.

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend, stay safe and warm my lovelies.

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

  1. Morning Everyone
A really good Challenge for this coming week SANDRA.

It's a really busy day here as you all know it's my 'swear' word day and Mr Tesco delivery day but to add to all that We're having a new bed delivered and the instructions from John Lewis are -we have to wear masks. We have to open windows in the room and an outside door has to be open. we have to stay in another room away from the delivery and make sure nothing is in the way for them getting to the room.
To add to all this I have arranged for a carpet fitter to come and measure our living/dining room.

I MUST BE ABSOLUTELY MAD. LOADS AND LOADS OF COFFEE WILL BE CONSUMED TODAY.

HUGS are on their way to you all.PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFExxxx

  2. Everyone loves flowers So a great little challenge for this week
I am so so pleased that Lucy has been testing negative all week To be perfectly honest I wouldn’t mind doing a test regardless of the covid situation in the household- almost make it part of your routine like brushing your teeth
I think that is brilliant service by John Lewis Not only are you protecting them by putting the measures in place but it’s protecting you too
I finished a couple more amigurami animals/monsters last night I must have a count up to see how many I have ready to donate somewhere
    Take care everyone xx

  3. Hi everyone
Lovely cards Sandra. Nice challenge to start the week off with when back, still
got a couple of more days here and the boys are not skiing any more so going on a long walk together later this morning.
Glad your girls are careful but how upsetting when everyone are so relaxed.Heard about everything going back to "normal", think that's very wrong with cases going up so fast.
Janet, keep warm while they bringing in the new bed. Hoping you both have a good night.
Karen, how many have you made? Hope they go to good homes 😊
Many warm hugs from the snow covered mountain of Zell am See to you all 🤗 Maria xxoxx

  4. Hello Sandra and everyone,

Lovely new challenge for next week - can’t go wrong with flowers always a good go to when card making.

Karen you must have so many animals and monsters to donate, whoever you choose to give them to I’m sure they will be more than happy to receive them. xx
Janet you did give me a giggle when telling us about the expected comings and going’s at your house today. My mind had a picture of men dashing in and out followed by a cloud our two of smoke 💨 💨 We recently had a John Lewis delivery with similar instructions, the delivery man and his helper were not really that bothered in fact they asked John to stay and give instructions where the goods had to be placed. Thank you for the giggle. xx

Great that Lucy has remained negative all week, is the incubation period ten days ? Fingers crossed she will remain negative. xx

Maria enjoy the last few days of your holiday, I hope you feel relaxed and rested. Thank care.

Hope everyone is having a good day. xxx

  5. Hi everyone
Great challenge for next week and I love your creations to inspire us. I have another journal page made with flowers, so will keep that to send to you for next week, and although I’m working this weekend I hope to start on something else too.
So pleased Lucy has remained negative this week, and hope Sophie does too. We seem to be in a minority now wearing a mask!
Janet, I hope you’re busy day has now ended and you’re able to enjoy a relaxing evening 😊
Maria, enjoy the rest of your holiday xx
Have a good evening everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx
