Good Wednesday Morning Ladies,
Early start today as I have a Gp appointment this morning to discuss my on going heart issues, I want some actual answers not just more medication to paper over the cracks. Lets see what she has to say.
After this Lucy and I are going out for brunch and a bit of shopping.
I had a fun little craft session yesterday making this tag, inspired by Emilia Sieradzan. I used Worn Lipstick & Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide sprays as the base colour, I spritzed with water to add some extra interest, when it was dry-ish I used a stencil and some texture paste, now this did absorb some of the background colour, so I replaced the stencil (after it was dry) and added some white ink to enhance the embossing. A bit of stamping finishes the background.
For the 'pretty bits' I used some 49&Market From the Market die cuts, it's all very Spring themed and sitting in the garden at the weekend watching the birds gathering bits for their nests really inspired me, so when I saw this with the nest box, I added some cut up strands from gauze (for nest building 😉) behind the book and then added some flowers and a little bird on the front of the nest box. I chopped up the little phrase so it didn't dominate the tag. Some white splatters finished the tag.
I love this make, its fun and pretty 😍

ReplyDeleteI hope you get answers today I do wonder if the results of your sleep study may help Unfortunately heart problems can only be treated with medication or surgery and most surgeries involve taking medication afterwards
I start a 24hour ECG tape today because my heart at times “thuds” especially at night

We have been out all day today so haven't yet done any crafting and tomorrow we are planning to clear the garage up a bit.
We went and saw Fawlty Towers this afternoon, it was good fun. This evening we went for a meeting reg road changes and train station closures. We have had a small train going to Bedford but now we are going to have faster trains going between Oxford to Cambridge. The new road meaning a bridge over the track and that's fine but they also want to have one behind our house ! At the moment we have nothing behind us other than trees and a bit of road notice out of the business park. Now we might have a concrete wall with cars going past 5/6 meters up in the air so can look into our bedroom . I honestly could cry if this went ahead 😭. I am so sorry to burden you all with this but I can't think straight after this meeting and it stressing me already. Stupid or what but that's me, I don't like changes. Sorry everyone 🥴
