Good Friday Morning Ladies,
Firstly today I hope that you are all safe, warm & dry and that Storm Goretti has missed your area.
We had all weathers yesterday, well apart from sunshine! We started with fog so dense that the hills usually easily visible were totally invisible, then came rain, in the afternoon the temperature dropped and it got really windy, then torrential rain that turned to sleet, as I am writing this snow is apparently on its way!
This first Challenge after New Year is always a tricky one, I want Spring Flowers and all things Spring but it seems a little early for that, Seasonally we should be making Valentines cards but we don't all make them abd those of us who do only make one!
So for now we will go with 'Anything Goes' which is something we had talked about, it was Our Sonia that suggested it yesterday.
'Anything Goes' means you can use any new stash or old stash yet to be used. It would be a great time to try a new technique too.
I hope that you enjoy the challenge my lovelies x
Here is todays Gentle Reminder....

Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteHope all ok and no damage from the storm 🥰 We have a mixture of rain and sleet, and it’s quite windy. Feels freezing outside. I don’t think Barney will get his morning walk today!
Looking forward to the new challenge, I have loads of new stuff to use 😊
Love today’s daily reminder ❤️
Have a good day everyone, stay warm
Sending hugs to you all xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteNice reminder that I have to use many times in my life 😉
Anything goes challenge is a good one. Still haven't had my time in the craft room but tomorrow definitely 😄
I hope you are safe from storm Goretti. So much snow and problems in some parts of the country. Take care and dress warm if going out. We are just popping over to the garden centre that is closing. Maybe a bargain or two or we just having a coffee out.
Hugs to you all, Maria xx
These daycare really lovely I do need reminding sometimes
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for the challenge Apart from cardstock I haven’t really bought anything new but boy! I have a ton of stuff I haven’t used yet
Touch wood we have had it mild compared to some places - just heavy rain and severe wind I cannot see any damage
Take care everyone xx
Hello everyone, well that was some night. We didn’t have any damage thank goodness. It was so noisy couldn’t get much sleep.
ReplyDeleteHope you are beginning to feel better Sandra and the antibiotics are doing the trick .
Hoping to do some crafting this afternoon. Have done the background just waiting for it to dry. Haven’t done any journaling for a while, I’m using one of Vicky’s ideas.
Hope you are all safe, take care , Lilian
Hi Sandra and all looking in. Finally came back to comment after waiting a while before 6am to put the comment onto today instead of yesterdays then got sidetracked and forgot until just now! Have to say that I think yesterday’s page was absolutely wonderful. I will be ordering this journal set as it has a bit of all sorts. A good place to start hopefully. And a very reasonable price I think. I will be joining in with the challenge. It is part of a new years plan to be more organised, but not trying to do too much at once. I like the inspirational words for each day. Admitting I am struggling is still very hard for me but again I am trying to change the way I feel about that too.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling the benefit of the
As you say we all have had are are having some hard times.
I hope the antibiotics are helping you now my lovely xx
Lilian, I’m glad you were not affected except lacking some sleep xx
I hope everyone else was as lucky. The only thing we had was a bit of rain but nothing else so very lucky. Sleep well tonight. Take care Love Sue xx
