A new journal page...

 




Good Friday Morning Ladies, 

I hope that you have all had a good week.  Lilian I'd like to congratulate you and Roger on your Diamond Wedding Anniversary,  what a huge achievement,  I hope that you have a lovely weekend celebrating with your family.  

Bladder Clinic was ok yesterday, she agreed with me that the uti is still there despite 16 days of Antibiotics!  So I contacted nurse and she has prescribed different antibiotics for me to pick up this morning,  fingers crossed they work. 🤞🤞🤞

I am sharing a new journal page today, made using Stamperia products.  

I painted the journal page with gold paint, then added a few patches of vaseline (after it was dry) next came a layer of 'Ivory' acrylic paint,  


As it dries you can see the little cracks appearing...


So after it had dried completely I took a piece of kitchen roll to rub gently over those little cracks to discover the gold underneath....


After all of that was dry I added some background stamping.  
Then I used a variety of paper die cuts to build the focal point,  for a change I used my wax stamp to add a different texture and to give a perfect a
sentiment.

    Absolutely love your journal page, it’s beautiful 😍 I’m intrigued with the Vaseline technique, will have to give that a go.
    I’m hoping to start a journal page today, but am waiting for a sentiment stamp to arrive from Inkylicious. It’s due today so fingers crossed 😊
    Fingers crossed the antibiotics work and finally clear up your UTI 🥰

    Your journal pages are lovely and this Vaseline technique intrigues me too
    I do hope that these antibiotics get rid of the infection I know how draining a UTI can feel
    Off to play indoor bowls in a mo and out dancing tonight Got a new toy to play with which I might try later or definitely tomorrow

    Hi Sandra and everyone. A gorgeous page today I love every bit of it And I’m also intregued with the Vaseline technique.
    I’m hoping this bout of antibiotics finally do the job 🤞🏻xx
    We, me Chris Gem and Gary, are on our way to Longleat which will end with their light trail this evening so a long but lovely day. I am quite nervous as It will be the first full day of using my powerchair, who has been rechristened Zoom, as I will soon be Zooming around on it according to the family🤭! Have a good day.     The card yesterday is stunning. So many layers tho. Beautifully coloured in.
    Today's journey page is lovely. I still some to try and of course I would like to try the vaseline technique.
