Good Friday Morning Ladies,
We have a lovely sunny day today it's accompanied by quite a strong wind though, the wind is keeping the temperature at a bearable level though which is a bonus. It would be a perfect laundry drying day!!
Our Next Challenge
You have probably guess by now that the Challenge for the next 2 weeks is Embossing, either Dry embossing (using folders) or Embossing with embossing powders or even score boards is fine. Karen helped me choose (thanks Karen ❤️). I do find that I forget to use my Embossing folders so its nice to have a challenge that makes use the forgotten tools. As you can see above there are so many different looks when it comes to embossing, whether you have have the embossing as the main focus.
Or simply use it for background detail...
Embossing makes such a difference to the look of our cards.

Hello all sunny here but really windy, have all my spare room bedding on the line, great day for drying, mattress covers and all.
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge or next week, love using embossing, folders and powders. Struggling to do much this week as my hands are so painful, think my walking stick is making my left hand , slough I a special one.
Have to make a card for grand daughter’s birthday, so I’ll use a folder for that.
Going to get diner now, quiche and salad , so nice and easy.

ReplyDeleteLots of lovely inspiration for the next challenge. I love the instant result you get when using an embossing folder ….. it’s like magic and you can use it as it is or use it in so many other ways. I’m sure everyone is going to love this challenge.
Sandra I hope you are feeling better than you were at the beginning of the week. Is it this weekend you go on your holiday?
We have had another lovely day today although there was a slight breeze which I have to say was welcome. Spent a while walking around and sitting in the garden, it’s not a huge garden but we have benches in three areas so you can always find a sunny spot and I do love my garden, I can go outside and forget everything that is going on , it is so relaxing.

It's been a nice sunny day but also here a breeze that was pretty strong. Had a injection in ny left knee, it's hopefully will work for a few months. Went shopping at Waitrose for a change today and then back home to finish a few cards.
Have you ever watched, Upstairs ,Downstairs ? I've started to watch it from scratch. ð
