Jubilee card

Good Morning Ladies

Firstly Sophie has asked me to thank all of you for your lovely comments on her amazing news, she is delighted at her result to say the least ๐Ÿ˜€

Janet it's so lovely to have you home, we all missed you very much,  I hope you had an amazing time at your little place in paradise, it feels like you have been away for ages but I'm sure it's flown by for you.  Are you going again in the summer?

I decided to go full  'Jubilee' for this card, partly because after I gad made the background and decided on the label I wasn't sure what event to make the card for,  I have to say that little 'Congratulations' die is so intricate that I didnt think it was going to cut (I have had it for ages and never used it) It's a Tattered Lace die and it cuts like a dream, the pieces just fell out!  I made the background with the same stamps from the Creative Stamping Magazine as I used on my Journal page yesterday, I used Villainous Potion Distress Oxide to stamp with and blend the background colour.  I really like how the background turned out.

Sophie and I upgraded our coffee to a lunch out, we went to a place called Giraffe in the Swindon Designer Outlet,  the good was deliscious.  I am sure we will be having one or two more celebratory meals with the rest of the family  at some point.

I hope you all have a great day,

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra                                                                                  xxxxxx

  2. Good morning
    Nice Jubilee card Sandra.
I did play around yesterday afternoon but it's gone in the bin.
Janet, hoping you had a quiet and relaxing day yesterday after the nasty journey back. Take care.
    Karen, hope you feeling better.

  3. Hi everyone
I love your card today. The centre piece with the silver embossing looks very regal and everything about it is perfect for the occasion. I think you should send it to the Queen ๐Ÿ˜Š I’m sure she will receive millions of cards.
I’ve decided on a journal page for the challenge, and then I’ll have a momento of the occasion. That’s as far as I’ve got though on deciding what I’m doing ๐Ÿ˜‰
Sounds like you had a lovely lunch with Sophie yesterday, and as Karen said, I’m sure they’ll be a lot more celebrating over the coming weeks ๐Ÿ˜Š
Have a good day everyone whatever you’re doing.
Sending hugs to you all xxx

  4. Hello All, well it seems winter is back, showers and very chilly.
No heating on though had the gas and electricity bills in today, not too bad considering all they said on the tv.

Sandra, a really super card, very royal looking, or should that be regal. As Sonia said you should snd it to the queen, yours just might just be the one that catches her eye.

Seem to be dropping off to sleep all day, suppose it’s log age.
Hope you all had a good day. Lilian

  5. Hello Sandra and ladies,
How Lovely to celebrate Sophie’s fantastic degree with a Mum and Daughter lunch, she will always remember and treasure the day. xx
Sandra I Love today’s card, it’s a real Jubilee celebration card.
Had a sleepy day again today even though I slept well last night. It’s one of the side effects of the medication, but it could be so many other effects.
Hope everyone has had a good day, take care and stay safe love Brenda xxx
