Embossed Background Card

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

Well yesterday was a bit of a washout weather wise, Paul did get out to dig the vegetable patch, well some of it, I went out to see how he was getting on but it was too chilly for me out there, so I retired to my Craft Room,  I lost an hour or so to Pinterest somehow, but I did get a card made eventually.

Today's card :  I started out intending to use a Kraft card background I made last week but after I stamped  and coloured the Altenew Perfectly Perfect flowers to ne they just didn't work on the Kraft card, so I used my new Stampin Up Fern Embossing folder to create texture o  my background, to add some more interest I used the two Ecoline Brush pens that I used to colour the flowers and leaves to create splatters over the background using a fan brush, I quite like the random distribution of colour, it adds to the texture of the background.   I arranged the coloured flowers and leaves, using foam pads behind some for added interest. I used a Tracy Evans Sentiment and a few sequins to finish the card.  I hope that you like it.

I hope that you all manage to have a good day today, the weather is supposed to be a typical Bank Holiday Monday washout though.

Sending love, hugs & sunshine to a of you,

Sandra                                                                                  xxxxxx

  1. Morning
    Beautiful card SANDRA.
I just making the most of the 'net' as it may be AWOL anytime. I haven't managed to get to my crafting yet as we're catching up on one or two little things which need doing. I'm hoping for tomorrow.
I don't want to upset anyone but our weather here is lovely. A little chilly first thing but by lunch it's blue skies and warm. Sitting in the veranda is just the right place.
HUGS to you all.PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFExxxx

Dry here at the moment and quite mild, fingers crossed it stays that way as we’re off to my brothers this afternoon. There’ll be quite a lot of us there so he’s probably hoping we can sit outside!
