Your Next Challenge

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

I know I am like a broken record but I cannot believe I am writing the 'Next Challenge ' Blog post, it literally barely seems a couple of days since I was writing the last one!

The last couple of days we have spent lounging by the pool in the lovely sunshine, I did go in pool yesterday and it was very 'refreshing ', when Paul and I got in we were the only ones in, a couple of older couples got in not long after we did, but there were no kids jumping in and splashing everyone,  gosh I sound like a miserable old trout 🤣😂. My problem is I hate getting the pool water on my face, it makes my face dry and sore, the other thing is if you are taking your time and letting your body 'adjust' to the cooler temperature and someone jumps in a covers you from head to toe, it's a shock and I have tried to keep the 'AF' episodes to a minimum this holiday!!  The campsite is so quiet now though, there are a few Motor homes and a couple of campers left, the majority of people are in mobile homes though,  80% of them are empty now, the whole site closes on Sunday, they have quite a short season here, all restaurants,  camp sites and most shops close mid September.  The weather still seems pleasant so I'm not sure why.

We have been checking our paperwork,  we have to update our Passenger Locator details on the UK Government site, then Sunday we have to take our antigen tests and upload the certificates so that we can come home.  We then have another test to take on our 2nd day home.

Your Next Challenge

A totally new Challenge for us this week,  something that I just made up based on some of the cards that I sat and prepared in the week before we came away.

So I would like you to make some Square Cards,  Small if you can manage. Let's say up to 6 x 6 inch.

They can a set of notelets and matching envelopes like I have shown above or they can be small Christmas cards that would be quick and easy to make and cheap to post.  I think that gifting a set of notelets, or a set of small Christmas cards to someone that prefers to say safe at home is a lovely idea,  I know my mum really struggled to get out and get cards for people and during lock down or even for someone like me that doesn't get out all week having some pretty notelets to just send a little hello to someone can really make a difference.

I hope that you enjoy the challenge Ladies,

I hope that you all have a lovely Friday and a relaxed weekend,

Love and hugs to all of you

Sandra                                                                                xxxxxx

  3. Hi everyone
That’s a great challenge for next week, and I love your set of cards 😊
Can’t promise anything, but I will try to take part. My mojo has gone off again, and I’ve just had to find an older card I’d made for this weeks challenge! I’m putting it down to the fact I didn’t have a day off work this week 😉😂 I haven’t even made Marks anniversary card yet! 😳
I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday. When do you arrive home?
Have a good evening everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx

  5. Hi ladies.
Love your little notelets. I normally do 6x6 so will try to go smaller :)
How quick have your holiday gone but so glad you had a nice time and enjoy the last days. Have a very good journey home.
I hope you all had a good day either you were working, swearing or crafting. 😊
I had Dentist today 😕😩 I had some pills from the doctor and took one last night and one this morning but they didn't do anything so it was very close that I jumped and ran 😟 Had a light dinner as the mouth is sore 😷 Never got any injection because the first one had not worked...now being sent for physio, sometime. Knees got left bruised after a lot of prodding and I see them again in May -22. Sadly no crafting today so hoping to make something tomorrow.
have good night everyone. Hugs Maria xx
