Good Morning Ladies,
I feel very blessed today to be Celebrating 30 years of Marriage to the most amazing, kind, caring, supportive Man a girl could wish for. We met by chance in a Sainsbury's supermarket in Ipswich and I knew from the moment I saw him that he was the one. We shared a brief conversation (Paul is very shy) luckily I was with a friend who's partner worked with Paul. My friend and I went out into town the following night and we went into a popular pub and guess who was there??! My heart did a backflip ! He had tickets to 'Hollywood's" which was a local Nightclub, he asked me if I would go with him of course I said yes! From that night our relationship blossomed, a year later Paul asked me to marry him 💍❤, we got married September 1991, without a doubt the happiest day of my life, I truly felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
We have been blessed with 4 Children that we couldn't be prouder of.
Life has thrown some real struggles over the past 30 years but I can honestly say that these struggles have bought us closer together, I know that I never have to struggle with anything on my own, the same goes for Paul, I have his back whatever the situation. The past year, seeing Paul suffering and in pain was so hard, I did exactly what he does for me and did whatever I could to make him feel better, but seeing him that vulnerable made me live him more (which i didn't think was possible).
We have just had 3 weeks to ourselves, we did nothing but relax and switch off and enjoyed each others undivided attention. It has been just pure bliss.
So no card today, (normal blog resume tomorrow) I just wanted to shout from the roof tops how very lucky I am to be with someone that makes me so happy and loves me as much as I love him ❤🥂🍾🎉

We are off this morning to get photos to renew our passports and call in the Opticians in the hope that my replacement frame has arrived.
After all that it will be relaxing to recover.lol.

Hi Janet. Mum is all settled in at home thank you. And they have both just about caught up with the sleep they both missed while Mum was in hospital. I hope you manage to get your replacement glasses xx

Janet- hopefully your new glasses frames will be fine and your passport photo comes out alright. I'm down to London to do mine on Friday. Why is it one look like a criminal on the photos 😄
Sonia- have a nice day off and you be up to some crafting. A wet day here too so hoping to make some crafting but first need to do some cleaning around the bed where I have boxes and bags of crafting stuff and a bookcase with more stuff 🙈 it gets dusty very easy.
Karen- glad you liked the film. Aretha had a beautiful voice. Have you seen the little ones ? Hope Alan is feeling better. Have a good day.
Lilian and Brenda- hoping you both have a bit more oomph today but saying that I feel like going back to bed. It's a very grey and wet day.
Cheryl- hope your leg is better and you can get around a lot easier. What are you making lately ?
Sue- hope everything is ok ? sending my daily extra hugs for mamma and Pop 😊 I am put on the cancellation list but don't think it will help. So many people are waiting to get treatments and I'm no priority because I can still move around without any aid.

You both looked so happy together back then and are still just as happy now, even with some not so good times. Maria, maybe a stick or crutch might help you? It feels like a big step (no pun intended) but if it helps you it will be worth it. Please think about it. I know I wished I had started using one earlier but kept putting it off! Thank you for the hug and Mamma Margaret enjoyed hers from you too and we both send gentle ones back to you xx

I agree with Maria about passport and driving licence photos always making us look like criminals, or just very strange no matter how we try and look ok 🤪 I think they are made to do that to us 🤪
