Good Friday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well, did any of you have the very strong winds that we had yesterday, there were bits of branches flying everywhere, the ladies organising the 'Best Kept Village' competition will be in full panic mode this weekend, they have had 'village tidy up' sessions quite frequently, having all the leaves and branches will certainly get the stressing!  I do hope that the rain stops some time soon though as the ground is saturated and there is so much standing water everywhere, I think the girls get fed up of me warning them not to go through puddles too fast for fear of 'aquaplaning', they just say 'yes Mum we know that we could lose control' !  There is also the worry of hidden pot holes, some round here are over 6 inches deep! Enough to cause considerable damage.   I did hear that we are due a heat wave in June though so fingers crossed it will start sooner, any early bets on Hose Pipe bans??!!

I am off for my 2nd Covid Vaccination today, fingers crossed I won't feel as poorly as last time, I can't say that I am looking forward to it but I am trying to 'think positive'!!

Your Next Challenge

Tags, Tags, Tags....For this weeks Challenge I would like you to make Tags, they can be Small Tags that you can add to cards, or Just Tags (like the first photo above of my Christmas Tags) or You could use Tags to make cards (see my second card).
I really don't mind what style of tag or what size, it could be a simple sentiment or a main feature that is entirely up to you!

I hope that this is a fun challenge, I am trying to think of different things each week, I don't mind redoing old challenges though, so if you have any suggestions or requests just let me know!

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend, anyone seeing family???

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

Sandra-great challenge & some really lovely cards as inspiration. I’m sure everyone has at least one suggestion for a challenge. Perhaps we could start in alphabetical order and that person provides the card picture for inspiration?

I hope you’re ok after your second vaccine. We only have 2 half day session ls left for Pfizer vaccine d in July then everything will be dismantled and the industrial freezer can be returned. Just wondering what the plan will
Be for booster doses-interesting to find out after the test sites begin.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday but I’m glad it’s Friday.

Hope you not feeling too bad after this vaccine as the last one, fingers crossed.
How lovely Janet to see Jim's Niece and hopefully the children once again. It does feel wonderful when you soon can meet up with family and friends again. Hoping you and Brenda are happy with your haircuts.
We have Sister-in-law back to us on the 25th, haven't seen them since Spring last year so a long time now.
Awful weather, it is so windy and horrible. Hoping to send off a cc tonight when it should be finished in a sort of right state to show....
Have a good day ladies. Many hugs to you all, Maria xx

  5. Hi Sandra & ladies
My word what awful weather we’re having at the moment. It’s very windy still and it’s been very wet. Although it oooks a bit lighter outside. I don’t think I’ll be going out today.
I hope you have a lovely meet up with Jim’s niece & girls Janet. I bet they’ve all grown since the last time you saw them.
Hope your 2bd jab is ok Sandra.
Take care & stay safe everyone.

Maria, how did you get in with your medical calls? Xx
Lynda, I hope you get the op very soon xx

  8. Hello Sandra and ladies,

Lots of lovely inspiration for next weeks challenge, We all mate thanks lovely to see what everybody creates.

Like everyone else our weather has been horrendous, started nice and bright with a little sunshine but the day has gone downhill since lots of blustery winds and rain. Hopefully that nice sunny spell will be with us next week. Fingers crossed 🤞

Janet enjoy your shopping tomorrow to M&S food hall, I hope you get to meet Jim’s niece and her children, it’s been such a long time since we had the opportunity to catch up with family and friends over a cup of coffee. xx

Karen I hope your daughter was able to help you both selecting your new glasses. When I got my last pair you could only going on your own and I had to be strong and make a decision without anyone saying yes or yuck.

Maria my haircut is OK. hairdresser still trying to get around my DIY cut during lockdown, think next cut she will be happier.

Enjoy your evening ladies. Love Brenda xx
