Bold & Bright Colour Challenge

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

With all of this miserable weather I thought I would make something Bold, Bright & Beautiful,  it rained here pretty much most of the day and the wind really picked up too, blowing the cover off of the Patio furniture for about the third time this week!
You know it's bad when even the cats don't want to go outside, they just sit on the windowsill looking miserable.

Next Weeks Challenge

For next weeks challenge I would like you to make a card using Bold & Bright colours, something really bright and cheerful to make us all think of warmer days and sunshine.

I used this theme for my challenge card, I chose Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Pumpkin Pie card and ink and stamped and punched out three different colour Daisies from the Delightful Daisy stamp set, I arranged them on a piece of wood effect background paper that was mounted onto a Crumb cake card base. I added some die cut leaves and the sentiment from the same stamp set, stamped in Melon Mambo Ink. To finish the card I added faceted gems to the centres of the daisies.
I hope you like my card and that if gives you a little inspiration.

I have a busy day today, preparing for Ally Pally and then for our little break to London on Sunday, I hope to get a few minutes in the craft room though.

I hope that you all have a fantastic day,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

  1. Morning Ladies

Sandra-What a bright, cheerful card. It’s lovely. This is going to be a challenge for me as I rarely use brught, bold colours.

My friend seemed to enjoy my visit yesterday evening. She wanted me to explain how to buy & use a Digital Download plus how to use an external cd drive-2 hours later I think she finally understood. By this time it was 10pm and I was shattered so I left for home.

  2. Morning Everyone
It was another very cold and windy day here yesterday but we have a sunny start at the moment.

SANDRA- like MICHELE I too will really struggle with next week's Challenge as I never use bold/bright colours but we'll see what happens.

Well we're at the end of another week so you all know what I'll be doing today. First though I must email my CC.

The CAFE is OPEN so pop in when you can.
HUGS are winging their way to you all. Take care and stay safe.xxxx

I hope you all have a good day ladies. I have to get the shopping for our Scout Group Bingo tomorrow night. Guess who got the dates wrong so had to choose whether I went to Ally Pally or to the Bingo where I am in the kitchen making up the filled rolls etc......there was no contest so Gem very kindly offered to take my place in the kitchen, bless her. Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for all in need. Take care xx

Bold and Bright, just perfect for this grey and rather cold day. Gorgeous card Sandra.
My mojo have gone on holiday so struggled with this week's cc but didn't want to let you down so did send you one I "just throw together this afternoon" Lol
Michele- hope you had a lighter day after the 'session 'yesterday ,I probably would have been like your friend. Not good with the computer at all :(
Karen- have a fun day on Sunday and find some goodies you like. Hope you spelt the name right, not easy sometimes :)
Sue- so glad you got someone to take over for you at the Scouts so you can come tomorrow. :)
Val- hope all went well for your DIL, well wishes and hugs for you all.
Margaret- hope you be alright and get plenty of rest today.
Some of us might need to share the chair with you tomorrow Lol I was meant to take it easy after seeing my friend, we had a nice catch up at Frost garden centre, but some swearword was needed to be done and some e-mails sent and soon it's time to make the dinner. Burgers and roast potatoes have been ordered by OH and then he went for a lay down Lol
Paul- Drive safe tomorrow ! Hope the journey be easy.
Many hugs for you all, extra for Pat,Lynda and Lilian and to anyone else who need some
