Simple Star Wreath

 Good Monday Morning Ladies,
Today's card is very simple card, but I like the simplicity. I secretly love Kraft Card.
I simply matted some Kraft card and some coconut white card, I cut a ring (using two circle dies) and then die cut some stars from Anna Marie Designs Spotty Card in Red and Green.  I then arranged the stars around the ring to create the wreath look.
I stamped my sentiment from Justrite on the bottom of my card in the centre in Library Green Ink and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Powder.
I placed my wreath on the card and then stuck this layer to the bottom layer to which I had stuck a matching piece of green ribbon and tied a bow and popped it in the centre, I then added three green gemstones to each side of the sentiment to draw you eye in! I may add a few sparkles to the stars too.
Steph, I think this would make a great decoration for a box, what do you think?
Thank you for stopping by today, I am feeling a little lonely today as Paul has had to go away with work, hopefully only for one night.  I kind of depend on him quite a lot to get me through the day,
he does all the things I struggle with.
So I will be looking forward to reading your messages today.
We got a good bit of shopping yesterday, but still
tons to do!  I think the rest will be online shopping as the shops were packed today, not so easy in a wheelchair, as I am sure a lot of you are aware you become invisible.
What have you all got planned for this week?
Huge Hugs

  1. Hi Sandra. Love the card. Well you kept that onequite, I didn't know you liked kraft card! I love it so this is a great one, especially for the men and "non flowery ladies" : ) I am off to email you about meeting up tomorrow hopefully. Go and shut yourself into your craft room today, that will help the time pass more quickly. Take care.

  2. Hi Sandra,
Love this card and I think it's ideal for a man card as Mrs. B said. Hope your day goes quickly for you then it will be time to meet up with Mrs B.
I'm still doing Christmas cards....really late this year.....and looking after hubby who isn't too good at the moment,
Take care and keep warm in this freezing weather.

  5. Hi Sandra,I Love Kraft card, yours is gorgeous, so sweet. I have been busy making gifts for friends but when everyone saw them they all wanted to buy them, in a couple of weeks I made £100. Hubby is 60 next year so that money will go to buy him something extra. I won't shop now, like you I use a wheelchair and I can't get around them, they put so much extra merchandise out you can't move. Keep the cards coming as I look forward to seeing them. Hugs Theresa(TOB) xx

  6. See what I mean... Sandra, where do you get your idea's ? So bloomin simple but fantastic, would you mind if I took this design both for a few extra cards and my boxes ? Another fantastic.idea to go with TOB's she emailed me about, thanks for both being there for me with the help, 2 smashing ladies.
If I lived near you Sandra, Id make sure you wasn't alone.
Keep that wonderful brain ticking over, and well done Theresa xx
