Good Sunday Morning Ladies,
I hope that June has started in the best possible way for all of you, the weather was ok here, we had a few really sunny spells, mostly cloudy though, which is perfect when you are doing jobs outside. Paul filled the last of the raised beds, we worked out that he has shifted about 5 tons of soil this past few weeks, I didn't think we'd need it all but we definitely did, we got loads of veg planted out yesterday, sprouts, Curly Kale, spring cabbage, red cabbage, white cabbage, brocoli and Tenderstem brocoli. Fingers crossed the netting works and we get to enjoy the vegetables rather than the white butterflies!!!

Today's card is Lilian's version of the Book Bind Easel Fold card that I shared the tutorial for yesterday.
Your version is so beautiful Lilian, I love that pretty flower, such a lovely colour too, such a brilliant idea to use the butterfly as the Easel Stopper, you have managed to make it look like he has just landed there for a rest.

Just getting ready to go to breakfast and then maybe watch a couple of classes I think because we dance Salsa this Modern Jive seems weird because there doesn’t look like there’s any structure Every dance I have tried has structure even when we did country dancing at school!
Anyway it’s been nice to get away for a few days Windsor is a lovely place

We had a lovely day yesterday. It was wonderful being with family and friends. Little Teddy did very well to stay awake, and he was thoroughly spoilt 😍☺️
He started walking a few weeks ago Maria, so you have to have eyes in the back of your head keeping an eye on him 😂☺️

We had Chris jnr and Gemma here for the afternoon and he is staying until tomorrow afternoon as his school has an inset day. I managed to get some newer dies a bit more organised but really need some more of the magnetic boards, by Artbin that I have most of my other dies stored on but they are so expensive now. Sandra and I were talking about them a few weeks ago. I think they are still one of the best storage systems. It’s such a shame Hobbycraft stopped doing their own brand too. I will just make some of my own instead. I hope you all managed to get out in the sun for a while. Take care. Love Suexx

We have had a lovely sunny day, I managed to get out into the garden for a while, it’s good to see plants and shrubs starting to wake up, I love seeing the new growth appear, it’s like they are saying that was a great sleep!!
Sonia, how lovely for you to see Teddy starting to walk, it’s so exciting watching his progress and as you say you need eyes in the back of your head. Enjoy every moment.

ReplyDeleteThank you for showing my card, I’m not very good at measuring pieces, but Sandra explained it so well, it was fairly easy, apart from I scored the back instead of the front.
The new fussy cutting books are very good , going to try a journal page next.
