Good Sunday Morning Ladies,
Still no sign of the sunshine here in Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire, it felt proper cold yesterday while we were out shopping, despite me layering up, I got my thick polo neck tops out, the neck of which is super tight, it can only be me that has a panic attack due to clostrophobia as I got a bit stuck getting it on, I'm dreading taking it off tonight, I will get Paul to help I think, what a pickle to get in !! 😳🙄🤣. I bet my GP would say that the Merina coil would fix that, as it was her answer to everything on Thursday! Do you think it will make sun come out too???
Lets look at your cards....
Karen's Description:
An old Serif background which actually I haven’t used before
A circle frame cut on ScanNCut
A SueW bow
I really love the simplicity of this card Karen, that background is beautiful, I love the colours and design. I also really like that you decided on the Bow rather than flowers, I think the flowers would have looked too busy.
Thank you for such a lovely card, Aunty Mary will love it. XXX
Maria
Maria's Description :
Old booklet of butterflies and they are blue too. New is the back part of die cut that was bought recently.
The same with the second one. New die the poinsettia. Old card used and blue.
Two lovely cards, those butterflies are so lovely, now at first I thought your second card was made using a plaid paper, until you explained that you had stencilled it, it looks amazing, so lovely that you can have it any colour too, I might have to look for that stencil, did you sat it is a Sizzix one?
Thank you so much for 2 lovely cards Maria XXX
Lilian
Sue's Description:
The stars are silver glitter card and the blue is the creative expressions baby blue one Sue used to use. I can’t remember what it was called.
I love how your card turned out, quite different from the one I saw you start though. The blue card that we all loved was called 'Periwinkle' , don't ask me how I remembered that, it just came to be as I read your description, I must have some somewhere as I used it a lot.
Thank you so much for a lovely card XXX
****************
I hope that you all have a lovely Sunday,
Love & Hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxx
Great cards ladies I must say that the bow isn’t that dark (on my screen it almost looks black) on my card To be honest I didn’t know which flowers/foliage to use and couldn’t be bothered cutting them all out
ReplyDeleteDaughter and grandsons coming for lunch today So I’d better get a wriggle on
Take care everyone xx
Hello everyone, we had a little bit of sun this morning, makes such a difference.
ReplyDeleteGlad the weather was dry for the remembrance services everywhere. R goes every year, and plays the organ for the church service. They had about 60 people attend, it’s so great that people still want to remember those that lost their lives in both world wars and subsequent wars since.
Not much else going on, made a venison casserole for dinner tonight, will probably top it with pastry and have it with veggies.
Great cards again today, can’t wait to start something for next week, certainly need some brightness at the moment.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Lilian
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteHome alone today so slept in this morning but dragged myself out of the warm bed and in to a cold house because we haven't got the heating on all day yet but if it's continues we might have to for we both feeling the chill much more these days.
I love the cards. Lilian, you are amazing at making the tags. It's not a massive space but you can get so many pretty stamps on them and it all looks beautiful.
Karen, a very nice card for your aunt.
Sue, lovely to see that you had time to make a card too and it's beautiful.
Yes Sandra, the stencils are by sizzix. I can't put them in my tool but will tape it down as I go so it should be ok.
Will try tomorrow with some happy colours for it. Watching reruns and doing a bit of crystal but think I need a hot chocolate first to defrost my aching fingers 😊
Sending warm hugs to you all. Take care. Brenda, enjoy your cake 🎂💐 xxx
Hi Sandra and all looking in today. Lovely cards from you Sandra, Karen and Maria and a beautiful tag from Lilian. Sandra I knew you would remember the name of that pretty blue card. You have a fantastic memory for so many crafting dies, colours etc. I think that is the last of it now that I have. I must remember to take photos of my cards in day light, not that we seem to get much at the moment as my cards look so different “in the flesh”!
ReplyDeleteHave s good evening everyone. Take care. Love Sue xx
