Good Friday Morning Ladies,
The girls and I had a lovely day out in Cheltenham yesterday, we visited the usual favourite shops, Sostrene Green included, then the girls wanted to look in charity shops, there were quite a few! Not that they found anything they wanted. (I got a bargain last week in a charity shop, a huge thick book that weighs a ton, I want to try pressing some flowers!) Oh and a book of a 100 household uses for vinegar, both for £1 !!
We had lunch at Wagamamas, which was a first for me but I thoroughly enjoyed what I had, although I am struggling a bit with my tummy after that antibiotic I had on Tuesday. We popped into M&S (for the bakery and their Almond Biscuits) and then we finished up in TK Maxx, I got a great new stainless steel saute pan for the Aga.
Now I am sharing a journal page a made a couple of months back, it's an inky background with stencilling in white and a thicker area using stencil paste mixed with Gold mica powder. I added some die cuts and run ons to build the page, finishing with the butterfly and some white splatters.
I hope that you all have a good Friday,
Love & hugs to all,
Sandra xxx

Beautiful journal page Did you mix the mica powder with clear texture paste? A terrific reminder too Wevall deserve to belong in whatever social/family group we are in
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a lovely day out with the girls Sistrene Green is a beautiful shop and quite reasonably priced too I have never been to a Wagamama It always looks enticing when I walk passed
Strangely I need to try and make a Sympathy card and a New Birth card today
Take care everyone xx
Hi Sandra and everyone.
ReplyDeleteA great page today, so much to look at. Love the butterfly and that colour swatch in the background. I love Wagamamas, their chicken katsu curry is delicious. Gem loves Sostrene Grene and said that I will too. So nice that you got to go with Soph and Lucy yesterday. See you later my lovely 🥰 xx
I managed to get all of the boxes except one empty yesterday, most is card and paper so now I will have to be ruthless when I sort it and pass on the surplus to our village school so it won’t be wasted.
I hope you all have a good day. Take care. Love Sue xx
Hello All, don’t know where my comments have gone. I think I must have forgotten to publish, so tired from no sleep.
ReplyDeleteLove todays page, the background is fabulous , must get around to doing some crafting, spent the last two days catching up on the ironing.
The sun is shining now, but it’s quite chilly out side, have to walk around the house four times, for three days then increase by one round every three days.
Have a lovely day whatever you’re doing.
Sandra hope your getting better, get plenty of rest.
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteBeautiful journal page. Love the background and everything that you have used for the top.
Nice reminder today.
Glad you had a nice day with the girls yesterday. I'm also one who have never been to wagamama, we have looked on the menu but then walked away but if you liked their Katsy curry, if not too spicy, we might try it next time in town.
I have been in my craft room now for two hours but haven't got anything together yet . So frustrating.
Son who is living just outside of Lisbon, it's his birthday today. He's 35 , where have the years gone ?
I hope that you all are coping and will have a good day. Take care, many hugs to you all, Maria xx
