Good Morning Ladies,
We had a lovely sunny day yesterday, my goodness it was chilly though. My mind is a bit preoccupied this week, thinking about surgery, I know it's a fairly straightforward surgery and I shouldn't be worried about it but I am. I am more worried about the recovery side, having to rely even more on Paul & girls etc, although they seem like they are buzzing with all the excitement of who's cooking what and when. 😂
I had a lovely catch-up with Sue yesterday afternoon, we had a lot to get caught up with, Sue didn't do any crafting, I did a bit while listening and chatting. Thank you for coming over my lovely and thank you for the lovely flowers 💐
While sitting and chatting I created my second page in my little journal. I am really enjoying how simple the pages need to be as the pages themselves are small. I used bits from the die cut ephemera and little bits from the 6 x 8 inch paper pad. I have just noticed that I didn't add any white splatters 😮, I will rectify that as soon as I done writing today's post, purely for continuity of course 😉😂

I know you’re worried about the surgery and especially the recovery But just remember the reminders and that Paul and the girls are only too willing to help B****y let them!
I enjoyed going to the bowls club last night It was lovely to just go out in the evening for a change OH has a blood test this morning and so I am going to sneak into my craft room for a bit!

Sister in law and her husband coming to us later. We are meeting them for lunch at the Harvester for a chicken Tuesday. All chicken for half price and still as good. Might go over to Frost afterwards for a cuppa.

ReplyDeleteThink it’s all the walking I’ve been trying to do, as the physio recommended, but the pain is so bad it is making my restless leg much worse.

A bed day today but I did manage to sort out my bedside table drawers so at least I did something.

Hello Sandra and everyone, Sandra try not to worry about your upcoming surgery, i think we all worry when we are not in control of the situation you will be in good hands and they will take care of you, it will be over before you know it.
ReplyDeleteWe had a busy weekend, we went to see our daughter and family her youngest son was leaving this morning to go and work in New York, he was head hunted and starts his new job next week, for now he is settling into his own apartment, daughter and son in law are going over in three days time to help him settle in. His mum doesn’t know but he has booked a flight to come home for Christmas which will be lovely.
I had a phone call from the hospital yesterday asking would i be free to have an Echocardiogram on Sunday next, of course I said yes, but was surprised that they will be working on Sunday.
