Good Monday Morning Ladies,
Welcome to the start of a new week, let's hope it's a good one xx
We got some garden jobs done yesterday, we got to harvest some vegetables too, Tenderstem Broccoli, sweetcorn, potatoes, tomatoes, last of the rhubarb too. We have grown sweet potatoes this year too, I am so excited to see if they were successful. The beans came out yesterday to make room for Spring Cabbage plants. It was beautiful outside, warm sunshine, not the rain that we were forecast.
Today I am sharing Thrinchie 52, the partner to the one I shared Friday, very simple design for these ones, Vintage Photo, walnut Stain & Antique Linen Oxide inks are all added to the stamp, spritzed with water then stamped. The tree was coloured the same way, I added the crow in black ink.
I hope that you all have an amazing week,
Love & hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxx
I had a very quiet day catching up on tv programmes I’d recorded and crochet I had made a pair of fingerless gloves to be sent Ukraine and daughter would like a pair for when she is working So I started those in a thinner yarn

Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteLove today’s Thrinchie, they look lovely together ☺️
We went to Barmouth today on the coast. Barney enjoyed a paddle in the sea, and we enjoyed chips and hot donuts 😊 we looked around the town - although a few shops were closed, I assume due to being out of season. It was a lovely day and the drive through the mountains and forests was lovely!
I hope you’re all well and had a good day
Sending hugs to you all xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteA very nice thrinchie. Not as easy as it looks when you doing on such a small area but you're doing a fabulous job.
Hope all the vegetables are being good this year after all the hard work.
The sun was out here today so I hope that you had the same and could enjoy it.
I did a few things in my craft room today, like to have some order until we are back and so tomorrow we will do some housework. 🤗
Sending hugs to you all, Maria xxx
Love today’s cards. Sorry I didn’t get in over the weekend, no excuses just got sidetracked. Beautiful photos of Becca and Adam they look so happy.
ReplyDeleteYour garden sounds like a smallholding you have so much growing out there plus Paul has obviously got green fingers. These days I just grow tomatoes in the greenhouse, the areas i had as vegetable plots are paved over.
Daughter gives us almost daily updates of there holiday in South Africa today they were heading back to Cape Town and then on to Mauritius for a couple of weeks, they really seem to be having a lovely time. This is really a holiday over a lifetime, she didn’t want to be in England at the start of the new school term, she has certainly escaped that. By the time they get back it will be almost half term and then she can start planning life in retirement.
Hope you’ve all had a good day take care my lovely friends.
Love and hugs, Brenda XXX
Hi Sandra and all.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos of Becca and Adam. She is such a strong lady, bless her. I do hope they can relax on honeymoon. They really do deserve it.
All of the challenge cards are gorgeous and all so different xx
Good that Paul managed to get lots of gardening done. You just need to relax now my lovely. Life has been very stressful for you too hasn't it xx
I had another migraine on Saturday and yesterday we were doing silly little jobs until a friend come over for lunch. He has been in Australia for the last two years, his second visit, so it was lovely to see him and catch up.
After that I completely forgot to look in. Love today’s Thrinchie, some lovely colours xx
Hope you all sleep well. Take care. Love Sue xx
