Clean & Simple Emboss Resist card

Good Morning ladies,

I hope today finds you better than before, Karen who did dentis go?  I do hope you  you get sorted soonest!!!

It felt like I was on the go all day yesterday, I wasn't but it felt like it, my legs hurt so bad

We had a Cat Sitter pop round yesterday,  so I welcomed her in and went into detail about what our fur babies need!

Todays card is am emboss resist card, I stamped and embossed the border stamp that I have had for ages from IndigoBlu, heat set and set to dry, I then masked off below and above the stamped sentiment,  a little later I used Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon to blend across the that central border, then wiped off the excess ink over the white embossing.  I slowly and carefully removed the tape to reveal that lovely central band of inkin.

I hope that all you had a lovely day,

Love and hugs,

Sandra xxx

  2. Hello from a very wet Cornwall.
Not doing much , pain too bad to concentrate, contacted the GP yesterday, have to wait to see the Musuloskeletal practitioner, likely to be up to 28 days. Could have cried thinking of the pain. So you have all my sympathy, knowing what you are going through.
Another great card, that stamp will be very useful, I have one similar somewhere.
Have a good rest of the day. Lilian

  3. Hi everyone
A gorgeous card. I like the resist technique but haven't done it much.
What tape are you ladies using for masking off areas ? The low tac tape I got is ripping the card for me 😔
Hope the dentist goes alright for you Karen. I'm waiting for a crown and she drilled down everything for now and put a cover over but my gum is so sore. When I had a tooth out they had to put me to sleep or I would have run a mile.
Lilian, hope you get to hear soon so you can get some help. Take care.
I hope that you all have had a good day otherwise. Look after yourselfs. Hugs, Maria xx

  4. Hi Sandra and all looking in. Another gorgeous card. I love that beautiful stamp, it is so pretty, love the colours too. I’m sure the cat sitter will do a great job with Milo and Bella xx
Lilian, I’m so sorry to hear that you have to wait again to try and get some pain relief. I’m sure you won’t need to but remember to stress just how bad it is on your worst day as that should help you get some decent pain relief. And also point out how much weight you have already lost so they just try and say you need to loose weight. You are already doing so well but need more help at the moment. Thinking of you xx
Karen, thinking of you and hoping the dentistry goes well when it comes around xx
I actually had a successful blood test after only 3 tries and a bit of wiggling. Got a couple of bits of food shopping and by the time I was home my joints were letting me know they weren’t happy at all ☹️
Have a good evening and hopefully it will be much nicer weather tomorrow which will be wonderful. Take care. Love Sue xx

  5. Hello Sandra and everyone
Beautiful card today The resistance technique certainly works well with this stamp, love the colours you’ve used.
We did the weekly shop this morning, left home about 10:30 just before we got to the supermarket (just off the A23) saw there had been an accident all emergency services were in attendance, returning home the road was closed to traffic it had been diverted so we didn’t have to pass the incident. Looking at the news this evening the road wasn’t reopened until 4pm. So many vehicles use that road to get to Gatwick and the south coast.
Lillian you have my sympathy, have you been prescribed any medication for the pain?
Karen hope you get your appointment soon. Xxx
Take care everyone, love Brenda xxx
