Our crafts this week

 

Good Sunday Morning Ladies, 

I hope that you are all enjoying the weekend,  we took full advantage on the lovely weather and did lots of garden jobs, it's such a buzz seeing the seeds germinating and watching the beans climbing their poles!  Then the other side of the garden seeing all of the roses starting to flower and the pots bursting with colour.  Still plenty to do though,  it's definitely a never ending task.  

We sat with the girls watching the Eurovision last night,  well, I honestly have NO words,  it certainly covered everything from Bizarre to the Ridiculous !!

Lilian's Description:

Here is my art journal page for this week’s challenge.

I did the outline on my sewing machine , then coloured with inktense pencils, which I went over with a water brush to make them permanent.

Stencilled the background with mermaid lagoon and a Tim stencil, it’s a bit darker than I intended but looks better in the hand.

Oh Lilian, what an incredible piece of art, the combination of stitching and watercolouring is so lovely, the colours work perfectly with your stencilled background too.   Your art journal really is something to treasure.

Karen's Description:

Card  1: This is Sonia’s card using card 90 The flower head is Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry The stem is Rustic Wilderness and the background is Speckled Egg

Card 2: 

So tic tac toe is Spring Stripes Wings  I’d seen this type of card on FB I know the “stripes” were cut with a die but thought I’d have a “play” on ScanNCut 

It worked So I have saved the file to have another go.

Two absolutely gorgeous cards Karen,  your first card is beautiful,  I love the colour way,  this is one of the nicest stencils. 

Your second card, made using the same method as last weeks card,  the butterfly is stunning and works perfectly with this design.  It's a perfect Clean & simple card.
