Good Friday Morning Ladies,
A somewhat quieter day for me yesterday, which I desperately needed, my poor legs were so painful after two busy days with Lucy.
Today's reminder couldn't be more perfect, this 100% applies to me today 🤣
Soph came home early yesterday morning, came bounding in my room, threw open the curtains declaring that we 'seize the day', I said I need a good 45 minutes to get up and going, (this was before 8am), she went and laid on her bed for '5 minutes' but I didn't see her for 2 hours, by which time I was up, had breakfast and was busy crafting when she said "come on lets go and get some lunch and pop to Tesco", we ended up having a loved walk (well ride for me ) around Stow On the Wold, we were puzzled that most of the shops were closed and there were quite a few parking spaces, which is unheard of. It was funny that most shops (which are mostly tourist gift shops) were mostly closed for refurbishment! Then the penny dropped.... it has been Stow Fair week, where hundreds of Travellers, Gypsies etc descend on Stow for their Annual Horse Fair, a lot of pubs were boarded up too, due to history of violent behaviour. I don't suppose the Traveller community were fussed about Stow's tourist shops though.

Lovely card Gina, the person who asked you to make it for them must have been very pleased with the results, you couldn’t get anything so special over the counter, I hope you were pleased with the finished card, you certainly should be.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your trip to Tesco, even though most of Stow was boarded up! Your girls are so thoughtful getting you out and about when Paul is working, and nice to have one to one time with them.
Had a trip to the INR clinic this morning, my reading is still to low even though I have been eating more greens, I was told not to increase them anymore and see how they are next week. Fingers crossed.
John went to the local post office sorting depot to pick up a letter that the sender hadn’t put any stamps on, the charge was £5.00 It was from St Christophers Hospital, now do I ask them to reimburse me or would I be robbing the NHS?

Blooming weather have really changed hasn't it but good you managed to get out Sandra for an airing. We took ourselves over to Bell's plantation garden centre and also Bon marche, where I bought some sun dresses and then to Paver's for shoes, I got a pair of their own make of slip ons. Great when you don't have to bend over and do shoelaces 😉

Not long back from a lovely couple of days in Dorset. Had a shower, something to eat and now a cuppa before going to bed! We’re back down there tomorrow and taking our parents.
