Good Morning Ladies,
We were blessed with every weather yesterday, even Thunder & Lightning! Did you get the same where you are?

I made today's card yesterday, I started with a piece of watercolour card and used Stampin Up inks for this one.
I covered the card with Coastal Cabana ink and added a little Pretty Peacock around the edge.
I then added some splatters of water and blotted them off.
Next came the stamping....
I stamped the image onto my inked background and took a paintbrush and some water and painted in each petal with water and blotted off the ink, this is 'Faux Bleaching'. I did all the flowers and petals, trying not to go out of the lines.
I used Harvest Moon Distress Mica stain to add colour back into the flowers.
I zoomed in so that you can see the mica shining.
I added a quick sentiment for the photograph as I couldn't decide what to add.

Had a lovely time yesterday. The weather wasn’t great, had a lot of rain there but had brightened up by the time I left. A very long journey home due to two lorries crashing on the M3 and spilling their cargo across the carriageway. Fortunately I was aware as Mark got stuck in it on his way home from work and phoned to let me know before I left. It still amazes me though, the idiots you get on the motorway who can see there is traffic at standstill ahead, yet still speed past to try to get ahead of everyone else! 🙄
I’ll be having a quiet day today.

Off to bowls club this morning to help clean the windows ready for the start of the season and will be back there this evening for defibrillator training

Love your card, it’s great that you use the older techniques , I haven’t done this for a long time, only to correct mistakes.
Maria hope sister in law will recover soon and Ricks biopsy results will be soon.
Going to try and mend the plastic of my little greenhouses this morning, not sure if it will work but can’t find the right size replacement covers.

Thanks everyone. Well they are keeping her on the ventilator until tomorrow when they are going to try to wake her, fingers crossed that it works. OH gets his results in about 2 weeks. One just have to be positive and hoping for the best but this year is really challenging.
Karen, hope you have a good day. Cleaning the windows is not something I like doing so I bought that machine "kercher"to help but it's leaking down your arms 🙄😂 so not used it much.
Brenda, so nice to see you in. Hope you are alright but take care out in the garden, no falling over please.
We had a new gardener in this morning. We won't use him again. He was a nice man but I could have done more than him in the hours he was here so, just a shame I can't anymore 😕
