Good Monday Morning Ladies,
Welcome to the start of a new week, I hope that it's a good week for all of you.
The weekend just flew by, the weather was terrible with the storms, so Paul didn't get much done in the garden. I had a good day yesterday, I got some journal pages done to post throughout this week, I am hoping to be able to sit and craft at some point this week.
I made this journal page today, using Stamperia Flowers & Poems collection, I used Stamperia coffee ink smooshed onto a piece of cellophane bag and spritzed with water, I tapped the ink over the page, drying between layers.
Next came stencilling for some texture and interest. I added a few splatters of ink too. I took a pretty envelope and clock face and popped some pads on them and added to the background, I used a die cut butterfly as the focal point. A couple of little flowers and some leaves add a touch of prettiness to the end of the sentiment strip. A few white splatters finish the page.
I hope that you all have a great start to your week,
Love and hugs to all,
Sandra xxx

Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteA beautiful journal page Sandra. Love the old rose colour and all the bits that you have used. You will be alright and take this reminder with you tomorrow and believe that you be fine in a few days. I'll be thinking of you ,hugs 🫂
What's this with changing the clocks we ended up going to bed 12.30 am and I got up 6.45 am 😭 OH has taken the car in early so won't see him until lunchtime so going to do some crystal work this morning and paper crafting this afternoon, well that's the idea anyway 😉
Have a good day everyone whatever you are up to. At least the wind has gone, hopefully for you all if going out. Many hugs to you all,Maria xxx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteA great journal page today 😊 I love the flowers and poems collection.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Raining again this morning!
I’ll be back in my craft room 😊
Have a good day everyone
Sending hugs to you all xx
A great page I really struggle with vintage/chic colours It has been ages since I’ve done anything inky and paint splattery! I hope that when I get my new prescription for glasses sorted I’ll feel more like doing more detailed stuff
ReplyDeleteOff to Craftea this morning
Take care everyone xx
PS Thank you for the ideas re acetate Because I free cut the rectangle I felt I couldn’t replicate it Why didn’t I die cut it 🤦🏼♀️ Would have been a doddle then to line things up Note to self!!!
DeleteHi Sandra and everyone.
ReplyDeleteLovely pages
Hi Sandra and everyone. !!! Fingers are not good at all so not a good start to the day!
ReplyDeleteLovely journal pages. I love how you are so good at putting colours together no matter what they are. The pocket is lovely too. I hope you manage to get the important bits clean and tidy. You will just have to try and ignore anything else. I’m sure you will be able to sit and make backgrounds and things like that very soon my lovely. Thinking of you xx
Lilian, that background is gorgeous, and the rest of your tag is beautiful. I have a natural sponge somewhere, saw it a couple of weeks ago so must find it again. I wish your leg pain would ease up. Is there nothing your GP or knee specialist can do to help you with it? Xx
Karen, love the cards for your friends 🤣 could you use Sticklers (I can’t remember the names of other similar ones at the moment of course!) type of things to draw / dot around the glue lines to make them part of the border? Definitely agree that everyone should volunteer with school or clubs that your children attend even if only occasionally xx
Maria, are you working on more Christmas diamond dotz pictures at the moment? They do take some time if they are bigger ones don’t they. Gem has got me some bigger ones that will take me ages to do when I’m stuck in bed. I must get the one I was working on ages ago back out again xx
Sonia, love that Snowman in particular xx
Last box to sort, it has my button collection and lots of bits and bobs that I have collected over the years thinking that I will use it one day! I think a lot of it will go straight in the bin.
Take care. Love Sue xx
