Good Monday Morning Ladies
Ooh yesterday was a busy one, I felt like I was on the go all day!
You know when you get the urge to clean something and next thing you know you have rearranged half kitchen or craft room, well that was my day. I went to iron something, remembered that iron needed descaling, so waited for Paul to carry it to sink, took the descaling parts out and thought 'ooh that needs to sit in citric acid, so boiled kettle, saw that needed doing then the water filter, etc I never got around to ironing anything! Then I made omelettes for lunch (we are trying to eat healthy on run up to my surgery) I bought an 'Omelette Maker' oh my its brilliant and makes a lovely thick Omelette, much more appetising than I made in Frying pan!
By this time it was after 3pm and I needed to make cards for Blog and I for girls friend to give his girlfriend. I made today's card relatively quickly, the inky piece I had in my stash, so die cut the leaves out of that with my 'Old ' Tim Holtz leaf die, I then used 2 'new' items: the stictched square die and the leaf embossing folder. The sentiment is an old Tim holtz stamp, which I embossed in gold and added some gold gems to finish.
The other card I made in ChatGPT while also helping Paul make Roast Beef dinner, Lucy decided it needed a box, by this point it was 8.30pm, could I get my brain into 'box making' mode 😌, no, I had convinced myself I needed A3 card, of course I didn't, thankfully ChatGPT came to rescue, made the box, then it needed a pretty label or something so got that designed and finished and by then it was 10 45pm! I had to face the devastation in my craft room this morning 😲! I was too tired to do it last night !! I think I had every square and rectangle die out that I own.
I had a thought this morning....maybe ChatGPT can help me learn to use my Scan&Cut ! It's worth an ask.
I hope you all have a great start to your week,
Love and hugs to all,
Sandra xxx

Beautiful card I might try something similar if that’s OK I made a Christmas card yesterday mixing old with new
ReplyDeleteWent to Craftea this morning and not much on this afternoon
Take care everyone xx
Hi Sandra and all. Gorgeous card to start the week. I love it all. The embossing folder is so pretty isn’t it. I hope you are able to clear your craft room today. Why do we end up getting so much out when we do often go back to the first thing after all! Did you do that in the end? The card and box will be treasured though my lovely xx
ReplyDeleteMy days seem to be like yours was yesterday at the moment, just when I want to concentrate on un packing. Bad hands aren’t helping either. I made a start on Saturday, dropped the first three piles of papers I touched so had a tantrum. Chris let me rant and cry for a little while to get it out of my system then quietly suggested that it might be an idea to leave it for a day or two. I am trying again today so wish me luck!
Have a good day everyone. Take care. Love Sue xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card. I love that background that the leaf EF has made and the leaves.
Hope you are alright Sue. It's frustrating at times isn't when your body lets you down. Breath and start again. Hugs.
Lilian, hope you had a nice day and that you have some family down with you.
We went this morning to pick up mum and then drove to a place where you can get anything from clothes, house hold things, Xmas shopping, pets items and food. We got there for 9am and left at 4.30pm by this time I was glad for the trolley or I would have been on the floor. Mum and Cina had a big trolley each while I came out with a basket 😊 I only have a carry on case and a ruggsack so can't take too much back.
Going to sleep now, fingers crossed because I didn't get any last night because of the pain in my legs so well see.
Hope you all had a good day. Sleep well. Hugs Maria xx

Hope you all get a good nights sleep.
