A walk in our garden

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

I know its Monday and I usually share a craft project but today I wanted to share some photos I took in the garden yesterday.

I had no idea that there were so many different colours and varieties of daffodils until ours started to open up....

The loveliest tulips, some many layers of petals

These ones have really thick waxy centre petals that have really strong fragrance

There are a few in the bamboo pots!

These are my absolute favourite,  so delicate in both colour and look.  They look like they are made of tissue paper.

This one is pure white,  not even a hint of colour,  so beautiful,  especially when mixed with those lovely jewel toned tulips.

A more common pure yellow 💛

This one is mostly white with the most delicate hint of orange, so pretty.

Another pure white one with the outer petals turned backwards

I am sharing these photos as I am so amazed at how far these have spread, they were 50p rescue plants from a garden centre.

This is another 50p rescue,  I was delighted to see such an incredible display,  this rockery was totally bare, not one plant,  other than weeds!  We are slowly filling it up,  being able to do it on a budget is even better!

I hope you didn't mind a walk around the garden today.

I hope that you all have a lovely day and a great start to the week,

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra xxx

  3. What a lovely stroll through your garden, it’s so beautiful seeing all the flowers starting to bloom, I enjoy walking around our garden and seeing plants springing back to life. This time of year you can see the changes almost every day. It’s one of my daily pick me ups.
We have had a very peaceful day, just the two of us. We did the family get together at the weekend.
Hope everyone has had a good day, love Brenda xxx

Karen, 🤫 will you but after this weekend I definitely have gone a bit wider 😄
Had another day of rest but hopefully I get out somewhere tomorrow. Not feeling too energetic but the sunshine will help 🤞

  5. Hello all, it’s been a lovely sunny day, but the wind is still cold.
Your garden flowers are beautiful, I do love the spring flowers.
We have fields full of them at the moment, they look glorious.
I’d like to avoid today’s saying.
Doing a complete clear out of my craft room, so ordered a new set of shelves and a smaller table, hoping they come soon.
Hoping you all had a good Easter. Lilian

  6. Hi Sandra and all. It’s always wonderful to see photos of your beautiful flowers and plants. Love all the different Daffs but I still love the traditional pure yellow ones best of all xx
I hope you all had a good long weekend. I haven’t been up to much as I’m really struggling with a horrid flare up, especially in my hands which is very limiting! Sleep well everyone. Take care. Love Sue xx
