Another Clean & Simple card

Good Morning Ladies,

Just a quick one today,  I hope that you are all as well as can be expected,  gentle hugs to those that need one. 🤗

I think we all need a break at sometime,  just not from this blog 🤣😂

Today's card is a clean and simple design, I used a stamp block to add a rectangle of Broken China ink spritzed with water.   I then stamped and embossed the flower from my new Visible image stamp,  I added Embossing powder and heat set,  then did the same with the sentiment and the splodges. Mounted onto a black mat and then onto a white card base.   A little frustration, the card warped when I dried the watercolour area,  I should have taped it down!

I hope that you all have a good day,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra xxx

  1. It’s a beautiful CAS card Those Visible Image stamps are gorgeous
We’ve all earned our breaks whether we take 5mins or longer
OH is not going to the Bowls Club but I will be using the time he would normally be there in my craft room Why do I feel guilty disappearing when he’s around 🤣

  2. Hi everyone
A very pretty card Sandra. Take a break is what we all need to learn to do. Took me some while when retiring from work.
Karen, try not to feel guilty if you want to craft and OH is at home. I'm sure he can find something to do. You are doing so much together anyway. I'm sure he doesn't mind, it's just you 🙂
We went out this morning for a bit and boy it was freezing with the wind. Nice to come home and get the heating going again. Going to the doctors this afternoon.
Hoping that you all are alright and keep warm. Hugs to you all xx

  3. Hi everyone
Love your beautiful card 😍 I forget to use a stamp block for a background, such a simple but effective idea.
    Love today’s reminder.
Wet, dark, cold and miserable here today! 🙁 Think tomorrow is meant to be better.
    Hugs to you all xx

  4. Hi Sandra and all. A lovely CAS card today. Like Sonia I don’t think to use an acrylic plate or similar either. Do you always tape your watercolour card down? And do you dry it with a heat tool or leave it to dry naturally? I’m not sure which is the best way? Thinking of you my lovely xx
A bed day for me as my joints aren’t being nice! Roll on Spring. The days are a little longer now aren’t they. Sleep well everyone. Take w. Love Sue xx

  5. Hi all, a dry day at last.
Love your clean and simple card, I never seem to get these right.
It’s the background that always look wrong.
Am sorting out my room, have two sets of drawers coming tomorrow, so hoping I will be able to keep things a bit tidier.
    Sleep well all Lilian
