Good Thursday Morning Ladies,
This week has flown by, I honestly thought it would be agonisingly slow as i am waiting for 'the' letter! Our post is playing up too, Paul's mum posted Soph & Lucy's cards last week, same time, same post box, Soph's came on Monday, Lucy's hasn't arrived at all. We warned Paul's mum in case anyone tries to cash the cheque. So it is this situation that makes me wonder why the NHS relies on Royal Mail to deliver letters that contain a life changing diagnosis, I imagine it will be a letter inviting me to another appointment to discuss the results.
Todays reminder is an odd one, I think everyone deserves to feel better, both mentally and physically x
I managed to fit in some crafting in between finishing off birthday cakes and joining in with various activities that the girls had organised, which included a Murder Solving, Crime scene game. They are great fun to do as a couple or as a family.
The day whizzed by, as I am writing this we are finishing getting ready to leave to go to the Cider Farm for Birthday Meals.
I created this Journal page using my Stamperia Dewdrops collection. Its such a shame that they haven't reprinted this collection as the artwork is beautiful, it also seems to cover so many things, from photography to coffee, Snow, birds to name a few.
I used a stencil from my stash, spritzed it with brown and aqua ink sprays, spritzed with water and smooshed onto my page, after drying it I added some stamping, some circles to highlight the circles from the stencil and some script. I added some splatters of Brown & Aqua to add some interest.
I picked out some die cuts, added some of the plasterboard tape for some texture behind the frames. I then added the coffee pot and mug, a few extra leaves and a pine cone and some coffee beans. A sentiment and a few splatters finish the page.

Fingers crossed you receive some news soon my lovely 🥰 The waiting is the worst part! There was a story on the news yesterday about Royal Mail, and how people are waiting days to receive any post. It really is a disgrace considering the cost of sending anything!

Hello everyone, very dark and damp here today.
ReplyDeleteWell my lovely trolleys arrived and I have put them together, took nearly a day, ( doing other jobs in between). Love the pastel colour drawers, the only problem is they don’t fit where I wanted them to go. So at the moment I have piles of papers and loads of other things so much so that I can’t even get in to sort it out.
On a brighter note Stamperia have brought out two more junk journal, and I must admit I love them. I wasn’t going to buy any more but I couldn’t resist.
Found that Leonie has the cheapest price, I’m sure they will sell out quickly.
Sandra another lovely journal page, not sure I’ll get anything done this week, as Jackie is coming on Friday as it’s Rs Birthday today.

I did try to make a journal page but it all went in the bin and I lost the mojo with it 😔. I have ordered some bits from temu but nothing adds up , just bits. I need to get better 🙄
Hope you all had a great evening. The place sounds very nice. We are going with SIL and her husband tomorrow to a carvery, looking forward to that.
I feel for you Lilian. A neighbour of ours had to fork out 6000 pounds for their car.😢
Postage going up but the postal service getting worse. It's really a hit and miss if the post getting through and be careful if sending money. Thankfully you can do it on line these days.
