Another Quiet Life card

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

I was relieved to read today's Gentle Reminder as today I need to rest.  I think we all now that our bodies need to take it easy !

My appointment was positive yesterday,  all appeared well,  she couldn't see the scan results as they hadn't been uploaded,  which she considers a positive thing,  had there been anything 'concerning' the scan would have been uploaded straight away with request for urgent referral.  So fingers crossed thats the case.

We were home before 9am but I felt really odd,  I went up to get my laptop but my heart went into a super fast rhythm and I had to lie down, I felt so cold, my feet were purple!  I didn't have the strength to hold my phone,  I must have fallen asleep,  as it was 11am, Lucy bought me a cup of tea and within an hour I felt alright.   In the afternoon we had a Riley girls (well and Harris) trip to Hobbycraft which was a bit disappointing,   I was hoping that they might have more craft stuff in with them having a tv channel,  but no, there was a couple of Sizzix stamps , a load of Crafters Companion stuff, including that pink plastic 'Ultimate'  thing, that was around when I started crafting!! Crazy!!  They had lots of machines,  wedding preparation stuff and cake making stuff, oh and jigsaw puzzles.

Today I am sharing another card that I made using my Stamperia Quiet Life collection, everything on the card was from the Junk Journal.

I hope that you all have a good end to your week,

Love & hugs

Sandra xxx

  2. Hi everyone
I have loved all your cards and journal pages Sandra and glad to hear that you are ok .
Brenda, good to hear that they are pleased with you and if they only can get hold of a nurse so you can go home. My parents have visits three times a day now and not the same one but three different ones, crazy or what ?
The weather doesn't sound too nice at home and another storm is coming. We are going back home in the morning after a fantastic week here in Austria. It has been cold but blue sky and sunshine every day. The food has as usual been wonderful too plus the cakes haven't been bad either 😊. For the last two day's we have used the free buspasses that they gave us and we were able to see some nice places on the way maybe for some other time. It was nice to let my legs get a rest as well.
Hopefully you won't get in too much problems by the next storm Lilian and the same to you all. Take care of yourselves. Many hugs to you all, Maria xxx

  3. Lovely card, Sandra.
Pleased your appointment went well yesterday.
The last time I visited Hobbycraft, I was disappointed with the lack of craft stuff. They had plenty of Airfix models and things like that but apart from a few papers I wasn’t tempted to spend any money which was really disappointing.
John and Debbie visited me today, Paul has been dropping off John early giving him a packed lunch which really makes me smile because it’s like he’s packing him off for a picnic, he gets a sandwich biscuits and a chocolate bar plus crisps - some families eat less in a day let alone just for lunch. Debbie came in after she finished work and took John back to their house where he’s spending another night she said it’s better for him to be with them rather than being on his own at home.
hope whatever you’ve been doing today has been good. Take care and sleep well love and hugs Brenda XXX

  4. Hi Sandra and everyone. Lovely cards and pages all week. Something different each day to enjoy. Thank you for sharing them. I have everything crossed for you on Monday my lovely xx
Brenda, I bet you can’t wait to get home. It will be so good for both you and John won’t it xx
Maria, I hope you have had a great last day and that your journey home is trouble free xx
We had a mostly lovely time with Chris’s brother and wife and the rest of his Devon family. Came back to 2 days and nights of migraines but that seems to be par fir the course for some reason.
Sleep well and take care. Love Sue xx
